Ok, I have more knowledge about Jelly Bean.

And there’s good news for you: probably it’ll run on our device without big problems, but only if CM team will take care of them. Hope it won’t be hard!

Also, now I have finally vacations, so from Monday we’re going back to our old speed, like with first releases (GyanogenMod and first alphas of CM9 :D).

Cheers and stay tuned!

Hi all!

As you know, there’re a lot of problems with Mini/Fit kernel.

We need testers. If you want to be one of them, you need:

1. Galaxy Mini/Fit device

2.  Knowledge about logcat/dmesg (or knowledge about how to use Google and find it).

Please, contact with me if you want to be tester: [email protected].

Preview isn’t working, but everything else (like flash etc.) is working normally:

(Just apply in recovery)

If you must to share that patch, link not directly to them, but to this post.

Mirrors aren’t welcomed.

Enjoy 😀

Guys, I know you’re excited about Jelly Bean, but…

We don’t have sources yet, so WE DON’T KNOW IF WE CAN MAKE IT WORKING ON GIO, ACE, FIT AND MINI.

That’s all what I can say you about Jelly Bean for now.

PS. Uploading camera patch again.

Guys, I written about it already….

1. School in my country is finishing at 29.06, so it’s last week with school. Please, wait that week and then you can expect boost in our works.

2. Because of no video drivers from Qualcomm, we need to finish our camera app until release, so that’s why it’s delayed. And that’s why we need more free time.

3. I didn’t written about when release will be.

That’s all, just wait, please!

Ok, we’ve reply from Qualcomm:

Unfortunately we are not able to support video codecs for ARMv6 OMX IL libs for Qualcomm’s QDSP5 on MSM7x27. The architecture of MSM7x27 cannot support OpenMax video codecs for ARMv6 OMX IL on QDSP5 running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).

I don’t know how much true in that, but we couldn’t count on something from Qualcomm.

But don’t worry, I’ll invent something 😉

Cheers

PS. Don’t sign petition anymore.

Hi guys, there’s something you can do to help us with improving camera.

Please, sign this petition to Qualcomm, OpenMAX drivers would be really useful!

Why? We could with it run native HW video acceleration (play/record mode), HW preview and video recording in camera! Please, it’s really important!

Cheers, please, share this news everywhere, on Facebook, Google+, other forums!

We need help from everybody!

Cheers!
