Yes, that day is comming… Bagnz0r didn’t have time, so we had to invent something today with Marcin.

And we got it. Camera with preview will be in next release.

But it’ll be cutted.

Working:
– preview
– picture catching (3mpix at Gio, 5mpix at Ace)
– flash (on Ace)

And that’s all right now. No settings, no video recording, but we’re planning to publish patches.

Now about CM9 and AOSP: AOSP cannot be published today yet, but we’re trying to fit CM9 to our device to publish it tonight.

Nope, you’re wrong. CM is getting larger and working worse with every compilation. It’s not like cm7, which was be fitted for cheap devices also. CM9 is going to support only high-end devices.

Stop insulting us, we’re only people. We want to do what we can.

It isn’t enough to remove system apps. We had tomorrow to remove: all ringtones, bootanim, camera libs, all apps which without system can work (googleapps too) and only then system could work.

You can hating us, but we can’t do anything with it. I don’t care what you say about us, but yesterday it was too much for me. I feel bad with it, and probably I’ll just finish camera and it’ll be end of this project. If you can only write bad words and don’t remember about all of my/our works, it doesn’t make any sense. Don’t you think so?

We wanted to make CM9 bootable from sd, but I don’t want to do anything right now…

Guys, we have really bad news. The most recent CM9 build is too big to fit on /system partition on our devices. We are thinking about abandoning CM9 and releasing AOSP builds or installing new CM9 builds on bootable SD card. What do you think about it?

Prepare for the pure google experience (awesomeness)! Today I’ve compiled the first working ICS AOSP for our phones ever. Almost everything is working (for now except browser, RIL (signal indicator and mobile data) and some other things but we are working hard to fix it). You can expect first release really soon.

BTW. NO! CAMERA PREVIEW IS NOT WORKING SO STOP ASKING!
