It’s really awesome i have to say.
    Good work guys.
only thing that concerns me is battery life, its pathetic.

    • manAMibored says:

I downloaded cpu tuner, and my cpu was at 900 something MHz by default, if you want to save battery download cpu tuner or any app like that one, and put the cpu down a bit. At 800 MHz the rom still works great.

      • Apoorv says:

Are you sure its 900 or something and not 800 MHZ .?

        • Keefer Rourke says:

The SGA uses a CPU clocked at 800mHz. This ROM had better not overclock my CPU. though that could explain why some people are complaining about battery life.

          Thoughts Maclaw/Marcin?

  • Bruno Bonito says:

I dont have the icons on notifications bar! its normal?

  • irving says:

  • helloinvader says:

    Thanks for the release!!! 😀

To install (over stock android) should I (after installing CWM):
    1. Wipe Data / Factory Reset
    2. Flash Rom
    3. Flash GAPPS
    Is that right?

And does anyone have a link to GAPPS for this ROM?

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

Releasing update so fast…well would adrenaline engine actually help to save battery life or it doesn’t match this rom?

I actually want to extend the battery life the maximum, if not, can you please tweak/optimize the rom at its best ^^?

I installed beta2 today and i am enjoying it. But i am little troubled, sometimes the notifications does not appear in the status bar. Has anyone else encountered the same problem?? any way thanks to maclaw for this great ROM 🙂

    • Has happened to me once. A restart fixed it.

      • Mayur Gondhalekar says:

Yes I also faced the same error with notification screen. but funny enough, even though the notification (for sms ) was not visible when i tapped on notification pull down, it did open the sms. Also camera is little laggy. But I am totally loving ICS on my two year old ACE 🙂

  • Batman38102 says:

  • dziani says:

  • Ted E. Bear says:

  • Anyone know what camera app to use for video recording? There are hardly any camera apps and the ones that exist only take pictures. CameraICS and CameraJB are very buggy and don’t work well…

  • keframe says:

Perhaps I want to thank the developers for the awesome work! I have tried numerous ROMs and can confirm this one is the smoothest. I would especially emphasize that:
+ deep sleep works perfectly (as a result the battery life is better than on other custom ROMs including any CM7-based)
+ working camera (also in Instagram)
    + working YouTube HD, wohoo!!
    + VERY smooth ROM overall!
I was able to use it on the everyday basis, here are some issues that I have experienced:
    – When the memory is getting low the Caller app and the Launcher become really slow and glitchy. The Caller throws the message it cannot call, and the Address Book does not show any contacts. Reboot helps.
    – The camera preview doesn’t work in CameraZoom.
    – WiFi is turning on waaay longer than on CM7, and causes soft reboots sometimes.

  • Kevin says:

This rom rocks ! Just missing init.d support. Why you don’t add init.d support?

    • Alias says:

Init.d is there…. as this is rooted rom…. So init.d is there…. for init.d you have to check it via root explorer

  • Zakredka says:

Macław i Marcin…

  • Mayur Gondhalekar says:

A great ROM guys..Thank you so much..This is the first time I rooted my Ace and flashed a rom..I am happy to have chosen this one.

  • nnmnsk says:

Ohhh… Thanks God your back! Room is perfect! Well, location dont work and some other functions i dont use, but…
It’s working! Not lagging like hell, no hanging GSM module, no low battery after two calls and two hours in pocket!
First time in last months i didnt whant to throw phone in window.
    Masterpiece! Thank You!!!
    PS Please, fix location :]

And for first install from stock phone, use Google for CWM install.

  • Just pointing a bug I’m having: GPS is giving crazy locations.
Awesome work in this ROM. I’m sure when it became free of the small bugs, it will be the best one around.
