On thing, could you add an option to select brightness like in 10.1? Now we have only a slider but no chance to put percentage values.

  • Dear Maclaw,

Your ROMs are great, and it is fantastic that you try and keep them updated, it makes us trust you.

However, your current method of sharing releases is annoying and ineffective. It’s too frequent and troublesome.

You should find a way to update the ROM automatically and notify us. (like regular ROM updates). If that can’t be done (it must be complicated), release less builds (one per month, for example). That way most of us would be on the latest release, bugs would go away, etc.

Another alternative should be to release stable builds with the current improvements and notifies us via e-mail. It’s easy and effective.

  • Tiago Melo says:

Had to change my governor from hotplug to conservative. Was Never entering in deep sleep mode when i was using hotplug, was draining battery too fast on build 20131024 (like 5% per hour in standby). Reboot issues last 3 builds too. For example: seeing things on google now, and then, reboot.
i will test this 20131031 to see if things change. Should i update my ROM Every single time a new release is announced?i feel unconfortabble doing this like every day, risking to brick my phone every time.
    thanks

  • alberto houtmann says:

My S3 still having ramdom reboots. What Will be the solution?

  • alex vour says:

battery is the same, my 3g issues seem to have gone and the torch works

  • This releases are each time more tempting, just seeing the changelog I want to update from CM 10.1 but i think it’s still too green. I wish to know if Hotplug it is working as fine as it work on 10.1 you know, with the core-stop feature. If so I would gladly test this version.

Now, for those to have problems with quick draining battery I had the same trouble but it just require a battery calibration. Recently I’ve been using “Root cleaner” to do it and it works better than others apps; sadly “Root cleaner” it’s not free but it’s pretty cheap.

    greetings

    • alex vour says:

you can always use greenify 😉 cm10.1 and 10.2 are both unoficiall cyanogen mods so don’t expect a much more stable 10.1…. it’s a matter of some days for the 10.2 to be as stable.

  • Wahyu says:

Not Support Titanium Buckup (can’t restore app)?

  • paulops07 says:

WiFI and BluToth not working. any ideas?

  • Tuomas says:

In all Cyanogen releases there is an annoying 1-2 second delay when you turn on the torch. The delay does not exist in the samsung stock roms (which dont have the useless “bright” setting). Also, the bright setting in cyanogen does not seem to make the torch any brighter. Could the delay be fixed?

  • paolo says:

Does anyone here has a probem that i am experiencing, i know it’s not a big deal but whenever i power on and of my device it has that delay and that really annoys me but I’m just saying But is there a solutiin for that? Thanks..

  • Nico says:

in cm10.1, i can sent mms with data

All of my parameters are the same…
    (sorry for my english)

  • Cagri says:

  • Jorge Aldaco says:

I Cant install apps like Facebook, Chrome, Lookout, and others, appears a message that say: Could not install Facebook. Free up some space and try again

is the same problem with some updates in apps, how can install the apps?

    • Thomas White says:

thats a problem with the ODEX, I had it when I patched apps with the lucky patcher. Try installing the lucky patcher, it will remove any unused data in the ODEX. If that doesn’t work, go back to stock and flash to cm 10.2 after that :/

    • Jogi says:

You guys are making a very good job. Thanks.

  • alex vour says:

at least twice a day i lose signal and have to reboot and have a couple of reboots per day… last cm10.2 that was stable for me was 29-10

  • Starkus says:

  • johny says:

Keep up a good work Maclaw!

  • Michael says:

Hi! Thank you for your amazing work!!!
I just want to point out a small annoying bug (present also in this release).

    BUG:
Touch buttons light turns on randomly even if the light of buttons is disabled by settings.

    More info:
I notice this bug often when the phone reach full charge then lights stand on while I unlock phone. Also when the phone is locked after a while lights turns on. I need to re-disable the light in settings and then work again for a little time before repeat the issue.

So I think there is some parts of the code that turn on buttons lights without check if there are disabled by settings.

Thank you for your time and sorry for bad english! 🙂
