Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version or migrating from Oliver’s CM, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

Io hoy Aggiorna, e non trovo Lessing tipo do problema,no lag,flickering, la ricezione è ottima e la batteria pure.
Scusami, il T9 mi dà problemi. Se dopo che hai fatto l’aggiornamento vedi meno reattività prova con il wype del dalvik e cache.Se i problemi persistono prova una installazione pulita da 0.

Ciao ragazzi quindi anche a voi da problemi di flickering anche con una installazione pulita? A me capita con la cm11 ma penso sia equivalente essendo carbon basata su cm e aggiornata giornalmente. Comunque il bug 1Ghz si comporta in modo strano, flashando alcune release anche con installazione pulita mi compare però poi scompare dopo un po da solo o con riavvio o con wipe dalvik/cache.
io dopo flashato riavvio sempre, non ho nessun bug 1ghz, ma lo sfarfallio in impostazioni e grave, poi se ricevi un messaggio, ci clicchi sopra è rispondi, la notifica non va via..
per ora 2 bug, continuo controllo xD
Io non ho sfarfallio e 1GhZ bug. Per adesso mi và tutto alla perfezione.
Per risolvere lo sfarfallio prova a installare UN altro launcher. Io uso Xperia Z1 port launcher. E non ho nessun problema
io uso il google, ho fatto un ulteriore riavvio e va meglio..Unico bug quello dei messaggi e un pò di lentezza di tastiera xD

Ok, installing and test it for 1 intensive hour. Everything works fine. No sort of bug,lag,flickering. No 1GhZ bug.No battery drain. Excellent release.

No. Install a wype cache and dalvik only.
If you have problem go for clean install.

One little thing:
The “Performance / Advanced Settings / SD read ahead” won’t stick to its value after boot. The box is checked.
Game graphics seem to have hiccups/stutters. Perhaps the display fix for CM will fix it for Carbon too? 🙂
Nevertheless a great Antutu score of over 10100. Previously 9500.
Guys have someone problem wtih vibrations? Phone not vibrate on call, message, notification, 3rd party app… nothing. It is not HW problem cause it vibrate on phone start- samsung logo
My typing has vibration. Haven’t had messages yet.

Try wipe dalvik cache.
I tried wipe all i could. Now i did factory reset and tried clean instal, vibrations works now… It looks like i have to kill another half-day with instaling apps and setings… 🙁 is there any app that can backup all phone setting, apps and other? for time save
Titanium backup is famous for that (at least to backup apps).
The problem I alwas had when i tried restoring my System with Titanium after a full wipe is, that with restoring the backup i always additionally restored the Bugs i had before I did the wipe. So no use in Ttanium. Is there a method for getting around this?
Avoid wifi due to poor signal doesnt work, i mean it keeps cutting wifi when i dont want to. Live streams do not work like twitch or youtube. Other than tgat great release, no bugs neither baterry drain
I will give a piece of advice to everyone who encounters bugs…….
All you need is get into your TWRP recovery…..
do an ADVANCED WIPE and clean up everything except your internal memory and SD CARD.
go to WIPE and make sure the whole system is FORMATTED.
Later, you do a full system reset and wipe.
NOW YOU CAN INSTALL A CLEAN COPY OF YOUR CUSTOM ROM
after installing, make sure you go back and WIPE + format your system (Not from the Advanced section)
NOW YOU CAN RESTART YOUR SYSTEM and you will find no bug.

no wonder i don’t find a bug for me, at least for the moment 4 hours after flashing the rom. i do this procedure all the time.

Netflix problem
Clock bug still here. Clock stopped 6.38 in the morning.
Solved by delete CLock.apk in the system.
is it me or it flicker/tearing from time to time?… not always though just in random times. i just seems to notice it. other than that no problem here ATM only that flicker. and always good and the best work as always M&M.!
