Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version or migrating from Oliver’s CM, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

No PAC!!!
check here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2776844
i’m not gonna do that. they are all in beta 1 and if you go to downlload page it says 0 downloads so nobody ever tried it before
PAC is in beta, so the release is beta, and the download counter is alwas 0, only the folder owner can see how many times was downloades the file.
ok thanks will try soon! but is f2fs supported or do i have to switch back to ext4 before flashing??
f2fs is supported
Thaaanks!!
Thanks!
I like SlimRom. It has some little diseases yet, but I prefer SlimRom to the Carbon now.
+1, though no diseases at all here.
how to enable BLN? Please help
how do i install it?? lot of people say you need a special version of gapps and that you need to use CWM recovery..
slimrom+ART+f2fs – for me really very good experience for the first week of use.
How is this rom working out after a couple months of use?
SlimROM 4.3 was the most stable of these custom roms when I used them. I’m back to stock rom but anticipate this one to be the best. Does this rom have the random reboot issue?
It doesn’t reboot on my phone (unless I want it to
π Super! How has it been after almost two months?
slim rom 6.4!!!!
I’m currently on carbon 4.4.4, I was wondering how is the battery life on slim, thanks in advance
the battery keeps much more then in Carbon. I’ve got 75% juice left in it after 23 hours. I’ve not did to much with the phone though, just install 2-3 apps from the play store, checked the mail for a few times, 3 phone calls, not more then 15 min in total and received 1 sms. The wifi was off except when I was need it to check the mail and use the play store.
not had any problem so far. Many thanks to the developers. By the way, do anyone know where I can see the history of cpu usage and frequency used by each app? Or can recommend an app for that?
still have clockfreeze sometime. really anyoing π
Hey Cool ROM. Use it for over a week now. No clock freezes after clearing dalvik cache from twrp263. Great battery management – 6% in 3 hours with mostly on standby. I like this one better than cmod11.
I’m currently using stock but am considering a switch to this rom for an obvious list of reasons:
* 4.4.4 Kit Kat
* Brighter OLED
* F2FS, ART
I had issues with prior rom versions involving text message drafts getting ported to other threads when checking incoming texts, and automatic restarting. Are these issues prevalent in this rom?
will there be a newer Version of slimkat for the s3 mini?
back and menu buttons isn’t workin, some idea?
