New stable release (20141127) of CM11.0 for S3 Mini is available!

For flashing KitKat, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!

often comes off the internet, but once you reboot the phone and internet immediately jumped. further when I have patches and turn on bluetooth hotspot, so the whole phone freezes

  • Luiz Renato Zanoni says:

    Continues with the old problems:

    – Sound Recorder does not work in a “wav”.
    – Do not turn off with the charger plugged into the power or USB.
    – The receive notifications when connected to power or USB, the lights of the buttons do not erase.

If the CM11 acertassem these errors would be perfect.

  • Ambroisie says:

Okay so I’ve got four questions :

    – I am at the moment on the PAC rom, hsould I move to the Cyanogenmod instead, still trying to decide but I’m not sure.

    – If I change to CM, do I have to make a memory and/or cache wipe when porting from PAC ?

    – Is there going to be a need for Cache and/or memory wipe when CM will be on Android 5.0 when porting from the actual version ?

    – Is there going to be an Android 5.0 PAC rom ?

Anyone able to answer these questions is welcome

  • Gustavo says:

    which, bugs have been fixed?
    In my phone works perfect

  • gonzalo says:

    When M12 will be ready?

  • alexroat says:

USB connection is not working, I’m unable to connect my device (s3 mini) to PC through adb.
The device is not detected event with lsusb.

Wifi hotspot is not working anymore, it freezes completely the phone if enabled.

Since the last update that i’ve installed (15-11-2014) I’ve experienced huge battery drain. I’ve to keep my mobile connected to my office PC in order to keep it charged. Major part of the consuption is due to Android OS and Screen. However with the stock rom I’ve never had this kind of problem.
I’ve already replace the stock battery with a new original one, but the drain is still present.

Sometimes it randomly freezes and start to vibrate till I switch off.

I want to say you thanks for your time and your work to make us KitKat available on our old S3 mini, however could I kindly ask you to put a more exaustive changelog in order to make the people decide if it is convenient to upgrade or to keep the current rom. In the last months I’ve found just a simple copy and paste of the old changelog.
Moreover, the line Issues: none is not true considering the issues that all the people are experiencing.

    Thanks again!

Last two releases are battery killers. I have to recharge my S3 mini 2-3 times a day.

    • Zwenn says:

something might be wrong with your battery. Otherwise you could check the status with cpu-spy or something like that. Try to reboot your device with everything turned off (WIFI mobil Data …). After reboot make sure that your phone is on 2G only for a start. Switch to 3G and then go back to 2G. Turn on mobil data and make sure that ii doesn´t say 3G or H and only E. Try using your phone without mobil data and only on 2G for a start.
My battery last for 2-3 days.

  • Joseph says:

will wait a stable version of cyanogenmod 12

  • Zwenn says:

Battery is good. No problem here.
Haven´t had a clock freeze so far. Thanks for the improvement.

The most annoying bug so far: The dialer doesn´t work properly. I allways get a blanc screen first if i start to dial via numbers. So I allways have to go back and push the number-sign again. It does work then however.

Another bug: After rebooting the device is on 3G allthough it say 2G in the display. Again I have to turn on 3G and then go back to 2G to actually be on 2G. My battery drains pretty fast if I stay on 3G all the time.

  • Antonio Maria Caruso says:

Some apps aren’t working after flashing this ROM. I had cyanogenmod 11 m10 golden on my s3 mini and some of the apps were worked fine until now. I can understand maybe apps installed first of this upgrade may have problema but there are apps that I installed after and they can’t open. Can you fix it? Sorry for the English

  • ok the photos files now are with date and time in the name, it helps me thank you very

  • Markus says:

    Hey there,
i’m just tried to update without odin from cm 10.2 to cm 11. And i got directly after restart the error “Design Speicher wurde beendet”. If i click “ok” the same error pops up.

After full wipe i had a new try to flash with odin. This time it worked without any error.

I think there are two issuses at this built.
first the clock in the right corner doesn’t show 24h it shows only am and pm time (or i didn’t found the right settings)
and second in the telephone overview is the wrong number shown. (it isn’t mine?)

    Thanks for the great work.

  • Zwenn says:

Though I really appreciate Nova-Team working on Lollipop I deeply hope that they still put some effort on CM 11 cause it still has some major bugs.
Last night after switching from 2G to 3G my battery drained really fast (about 15% per hour without even using the phone)! Going back to 2G didn´t solve the problem so this morning my phone was dead.

  • Marek says:

First of all many thanks for another great release. As usual I have problem with MMS settings in Play (one of polish mobile operators). If someone has working MMS settings, please advise.

  • Emilio Garín says:

HELP PLEASE!!! Since this update I’ve been experiencing random crashes with a black screen and red letters saying:”rst_stat = 0x00000000″. Then I can’t reboot nor power off the device. Only taking the battery fixes this. I had tried full wipe and installing the same ROM and the same with the 20141208 ROM Problem still happens. When I start the phone I get a fuzzy screen and then starts up nornally, then I get the random screen while using the phone

  • Luigi says:

    ISSUES:
    – Wi-fi freezing sometimes and not turning on until reboot which sucked off 9% of juice
    – not able to receive mms (privacy guard disabled)
    – browser searchbox freezing at second search
    – no mercy with battery
    – after reboot my widget were modified
+ everything that has already been posted

Migrated from Carbon, very disappointed. So many releases but these bugs still included. Tnx anyway.
