  • Lucas says:

Please, one more update of CyanogenMod 10.2… Its best than CM11… just fix offline charging…Only pleeease

    • M D says:

In general I would very much appreciate if stable ROMs would not be left behind so early. I understand the excitement of putting a lot of effort into Lollipop, but for people like me a properly working phone is essential. I need it for business and its no place for a lot of testing. So please update 10.2 and fix Kitkat before all efforts go into Lollipop.
thanks for all your hard work, Mark

    • ItsPeet♡CarbonROM says:

First they have to ‘find a cure’ for this problem.
It seems to me that if the problem persists for a long time, the search for a fix is on a dead end.

  • Emanuele says:

    Wifi direct working on I8190N?
    Offline charging working in I8190N?

    • 21sdino says:

      works wifi and hotspot
I believe instead that the offline charging will restart the phone

    • mamiho says:

WiFi direct won’t be working, since there isn’t any softs accessable for it. Thank Samsung for that. Offline charging isn’t working well on any i8190 type of model.

  • M says:

    Please support the GT-I8200N!

  • Marco says:

Battery drenage, I back to previous version.

      • Joe says:

My battery is also draining extraordinarily quickly. I’ve lost 30% in an hour barely running any apps (particularly no battery-hungry apps) and having the screen on for 28 minutes. Any suggestions about how to fix this?

        • Robbe says:

Go back to the previous rom, the 14/12/2014 and you don’t have that problem.

          • smeagol says:

how to get rom 14/12/2014?? i’ve erased it 🙁

          • Joe says:

I’ve gone back to the previous version and am getting intermittent battery drainage. The battery meter will remain stuck on a random value (say, 51%) for anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours, then suddenly plummet by 13% or 14% in 10 or 20 minutes, to then keep constantly decreasing before plummeting again. Additionally, if I reboot/switch off my phone when the battery indicator shows 60+% remaining, once on again the battery meter drops to 15% (or so). I have re-flashed 14/12/2014 and the issue persists. This feels like its the battery management system rather than the battery itself, but I’m not sure…

        • Hawk195 says:

I can only reply on this comment and not on your last one, sorry.
You should try flashing stock rom and see if the problem persists. The battery meter hardly gets screwed up, it happened to me to be the battery getting old (1 year old battery): it always went down from 60% to 10% when rebooting, also you should try taking out the battery and spin it like a spinning top. If on both sides it doesn’t spin, you’re lucky. If it does spin instead, your battery is inflating thus dying. (so maybe it’s not the ROM’s fault)

          • Joe says:

I followed your suggestion and took the battery out and spun it on both sides… and it spins like a merry-go-round! The battery is certainly inflating because it dances on a flat surface when I press down on either the top or bottom of the battery. I’ve just ordered a new battery, hopefully that will do the trick. Thank you for your help – I’m new to flashing ROMs and this problem was doing my head in!

        • Hawk195 says:

No problem! I’m glad to see it was that and not some other misterious problem!

          • Joe says:

The new battery has certainly improved matters! I had to revert to the 14/12/2014 build since the 08/01/2015 was chewing up too much battery… however, I still think there’s something off with the battery. The battery charged overnight, and, when I unplugged the charger and left the phone for an hour, (screen off, nothing major running in the background), I lost 8% in an hour. The readings then ‘stabilised’ and the meter would barely drop when the phone was under the same conditions… but around 40% my readings dropped to 30% in about half an hour, and then ‘stabilised’ again and was eventually stuck on 18% for about 2 hours (almost as if it was ‘compensating’ for the rapid earlier drop?). Having said that, the battery lasted for 14hrs with 3:30hrs screen time… It’s an issue I’ve never come across. Any suggestions what it might be?

          • Joe says:

In a further battery related development, I was not running anything intense in the background and my battery was responding normally, dropping an appropriate percentage. I switched the screen off, and 5 minutes later switched it back on again, and my battery had plummeted instantly from 40% to 28%. Considering it is a brand new battery, which has been running well during the course of the day… I have no idea why this could be. After hitting 28%, it hovered on that value for a short period of time and then continued to discharge normally. I have no idea if this could be Cyanogenmod… it’s a very bizarre issue.

  • Marko Blažeka says:

Bootloop for 30 minutes , did Wipe couple times , pulled battery had to nandroid restore :3

  • huff&puff says:

Thank you. Can you update again cm11 in a short time this release didn’t work well at my phone. I don’t know why ı did clean install.

  • Alex says:

I’ve been using the last version before this and have started getting clockfreeze again. I upgraded from CM 10, would it be worth doing a clean install?

  • anders says:

    Error executing updater binary….

  • Viggy says:

Guys the install worked for me (maybe because I was downgrading from cm12).
Before flashing in twrp do following things…
Go to wipe -> advanced wipe .
    Check the first four boxes
    Then wipe
After finished, go install cm11 zip.
    This worked for me.

  • Yusuf says:

My battery drain so fast._. I dont know its because of my old battery(ive use it more than a year) or because of this update._.

    • ItsPeet♡CarbonROM says:

Why don’t you go back to previous version to check the battery? Then you can report for sure.

    • anonimderp says:

I have the same probrem, It’s because of both. Flashing roms harm battery + S3 mini really sucks = Your battery is dead. I had to buy a new one few month ago.

      • ItsPeet♡CarbonROM says:

I’ve been flashing ROMs for a long time, cannot confirm that it harms battery.

But, I do a full charge regularly (wait to charge until <5% and then charge until completely full and finished.

Still on my first and only battery 🙂

        • saygone says:

          I can confirm that too.
More then a year of flashing and never had problem with battery. Once my battery died but it was when I was using stock rom.

ItsPeet solution to take care your battery is really good.

          • mamiho says:

Me too, I’m flashing ROM’s, kernel’s, program’s and such-as for almost two years and my battery sometimes hold 2-3 days nowadays. So it was something with only device, anonimderp.

    • Robbe says:

Yusuf it seems the update I went back to 14/12/2014 and the battery last a lot

  • zoltan says:

    Works for me.beter den cm12.

  • Pawel says:

Can I install this ROM on i8190N version.

  • Stefan says:

just flashed this ROM as my first custom ROM via Odin.

Worked so far except for Velis Auto Brightness which does not auto update the brightness (but did with stock Samsung ROM).

Second issue is a major issue however: I completely discharged the battery until the phone turned off itself and now tried to charge the mobile again. I did this often with Samsung ROM but with this ROM the phone didn’t charge anymore – it just showed for minutes a frozen small white sun on black background. Removed the battery, was able to start the phone and plugged the charging cable immediately in. Now seems to charge but battery is already shown to be at 13%.

Anybody else having issues with completely discharging and charging again?

  • Hi, why i have problems with the connection signal?

  • MarKekas says:

I’m very disappointed with this CyanogenMod 11.0. Gapps processes crashing at all time. Can’t access Google Play. File manager doesn’t work. Sometimes shuts down from nothing. Hope the stable version of version 12 would be better in the future. Going back to Samsung stock rom… 🙁

  • Peter says:

My battery is just flying, it is super fast 0%. Is there any save modus or something?

  • miki says:

Leave this and work on cm12!!!!
I will donate 100$ when you fix all issuses in cm12

  • play store won’t work 🙁

  • Stefan says:

On google I’ve found that you can adjust default_gain.conf in system/etc to increase maximum speaker volume with cyanogenmod. However the file is not in the root/system/etc directory. Any alternative to increase the volume? I want to increase the volume in speaker mode during voice calls.

  • Andy_Long_Beach says:

Hi, although I really appreciate the 95% stable CM10.2, I tried this CM11 version. Actually it runs very smooth on my i8190, but every day 3G radio connection freezes and a reboot is necessary to recover.
This happens even when only the standard processes are running, i.e. imap .
Same issue as in previous CM11 releases, also 10.2 still suffers under this issue, but not so often. I have a very clean setup, even deleted some basic apps, I don’t need.
Battery lasts for about 20-24 hours, 10.2 from June last year was a little better, up to 1 1/2 days.
Would be very glad if these two basic issues, especially freezing connections, can get solved,
to get a reliable build for daily usage.
I really appreciate the private efforts you guys put into this work.

  • Mauro says:

    Hi,I have a GT-I8190N
I encountered the same bug with all these your custom rom:
    CM11.0 (4.4.4)
    AOSPA (4.4.4)
    Carbon (4.4.4)
The cpu of my smartphone does not go in deep sleep mode rather get stuck at 100%
From what can be due to this bug?
Thinking it could be a hardware issue I put the stockrom and the problem has disappeared

  • user says:

As far the best rom is virginity v14 😉 . By the way vibration and message sound is not working in this version of rom.

  • matheus says:

tanks novateam, its so good to have a upgrade phone
but when i connect on pc i cant open the photos, but i can see, just no open,

  • Pillo says:

I’ve just installed Cyanogenmode v 11.0 on Galaxy S3 mini and tested my app but it shows a defect that I haven’t experienced on other installations.

It seems like that all the ImageViews displaying a .gif image can not show the transparent background that is replaced by a random color(sometimes purple, sometimes black, sometimes withe…).
Png images with transparent background are instead displayed properly.

I will solve this for my app by converting all the images from .gif to .png, but I thought it would be useful signal this defect.

Hi, After upgrading to New stable release (20150108), Offline charging not working.
Also noticed, if we switch of the phone while connecting charging, phone automatically boots.

    any solution ?

  • Stefan says:

    Experiencing an annoying issue:
Quite frequently I cannot turn on WLAN anymore without rebooting the phone. It works for a while but then I cannot turn WLAN on via notification bar, not via settings (WLAN option is actually greyed out when this happens!!!) and not via other apps like Llama which I use to turn on/off WLAN on screen on/off and during calls. Llama is also used to turn on/off flight mode during night hours.

Anybody else experiencing issues with not being able to turn on WLAN anymore without rebooting?

Oh man… I don’t know if it is just me, or this ROM have a lot of bugs/issues… I hate that Offline Charging doesn’t work anymore, battery draining is a huge problem too (1Ghz bug ¿?)… Also the phone is rebooting randomly for no reason… The lollipop ROM still have bugs, so I was thinking about going back to Samsung stock rom again… You Novafusion Team, thank you for all your work, but before you release another proyect, you should finish the last one first… You say this ROM have no Issues, you’re wrong. Sorry for bad english.

  • Andrew says:

Unable to send text abroad. To be more specyfic from Ireland to Poland. Localy works fine.

    i can not activate it?!?

if i tap it, it will be again manually adjusted, and the “a” is never on.

how do i make a clean reinstall without loosing all my data???

  • Tester says:

Today I changed the SD-Card and I had for the first time the 1GHz-Bug.
Changed from 16GB SanDisk to 32GB Toshiba.
After booting without Wlan everything is ok. After changing back to 16GB SanDisk no 1Ghz-Bug

  • Stefan says:

There’s no light sensor in s3 mini, so you need for Auto brightness an extra app like velis auto brightness that uses the front camera as a light sensor…

    • Andy says:

Thanks, i thought about reinstalling everything, because in the morning in bed its pretty anoying that its to bright!!
