Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation if you don’t updating from older CM12.0 release.
You need to perform a wipe if you’re migrating from software different than CM12.0!

Issues
- video taken by stock camera app is green, but some apps like Camu taking correct videos without any issues

5.1 is really new – give them time to update, 5.0 did also needed some time to come out in CM12 😉

they said: android 5.1 is no major changes just a new number
5.1 for s3 mini will be available as soon as cyanogenmod starts merging their code to 5.1
basically 5.1 cm12 won’t be out until cyanogenmod start work on 5.1
some problems are google’s fault ans some are cyanogen’s fault
remember novafusion only port over android mixed with cyanogenmod

Still till major battery drain and memory leak.
memory leak is google’s fault not novafusion’s
if they could fix the memory leak they would but google are the only ones with access to the memory code
What is memory leak?
Android allocates memory (RAM) without releasing it later on.
Thus, the longer the uptime the less memory is available.

phone turns off randomly
performance drops
memory leak – apps hang on to memory instead of giving it back causing the phone to run out of memory which makes the phone restart
You tried change your cpu governator? I use the new Zmoove with noop and cqf and work well for me.
My camera is good but my Root is gone when i installed it anyone have root apps?
Hello. If you want to root your device you need go to Developer Settings and Click the Root Device 🙂

try to go on the developer settings under the tab Root Access, then select the only apps option
by default -at least mine was- it’s deactivated so it’s like there’s no root

you “can”, use titanum backup to save data from your most importants apps.. but messages apps is diferents, and you can be make a crash…

Fixing this would be perfect:
-Battery drain so fast, is like, I have 30% and then my phone randomly reboot and have between 5% to 1%
-When you will fix problems with cyanogenmod music apps? (Eleven, Apollo)
-A better improve on 3G/3G+ connectivity
It is possible that you need to replace battery.
I have the same problem. With CM 11, my device worked well.
When my battery is 1-5%, mobile data doesn’t work and I got random reboots.
But this release fixed the reboots, I think 😉

To fix the media player issue you need to:
Settings=>Go to App’s=> All Apps=> Media Storage=>Clear Data.
You will not lose any personall info but the phone will not recognize your files for like… 10~30 mins. It’s recommended that you reboot phone after this. After the media storage start working again you can use the media player, althought is very possible that you will have your songs in shifted places
It worked fine at first but, next day (today lol) it started to say “music has stopped/Apollo has stopped” and now when I see the song list they are like 5times repeated. It only happens to me with cyanogenmod music apps. With google play music or any other from store works fine but I don’t like any of them lol. So I have to clear data every day?

A little bug! The phone does not enter to deep sleep mode. It is not 1ghz bug phone waits on 200mhz even while screen is off. I tried several ways and several kernels to fix it but result is negative. Deep sleep bug is still here

Try to use deep sleep battery saver app! İt gets the cpu to deep sleep mode, bro

For me the bugs:
– Call drop, because android drop network after an time, I needed reboot the phone to signal back
– Music player don’t work if music stay on external storage, I belive it need an acess fix. (I use Player Pro)
– Stock Calculator are freezing, bugging and low time to response on touch.
– a bit lagg on interface from call.
– 3G don’t work on my operator (Vivo Brasil) and I tried to call for the operator the APN and nothing.
– ramdon reboots, it’s isn’t all time, but one time or other.
I’m extreme happy with lolipop. and I belive this is tha last work of Nova Team XD is so hard to port new relases from android for a old phone. I’ll trade my phone this year and I’m so happy for this fantastic work from nova team. I’ll wait a milestone release to put in this phone and end the customization. I think, Vivo Brazil is the only provider where 3G doesn’t work. In Germany, almost nobody has this problem…

There was something with APN-s to be set manualy or something like that to have it working.
This problem is with lolipop.. my friend have an Sony Xperia SP, and put a custom lolipop rom and 3G don’t work for he too.. I’ll call again on provider,

please update carbon 4.4.4 i don’t like cyanogenmod, it doesn’t have any important functions that carbon has. i tried cm12 but turned back to carbon. i hope that carbon team will develop carbon rom 5.1 but for now please update carbon 4.4.4
He need update the cm12 to a stable milestone release to work on carbon. Because, they have two rom to work is very hard.

Cm12 is not as fast as cm11 for now. For example, when i push to whatsapp on cm12, i wait 3 secs. for openin. Cm11 with art, the time is not even 1 sec.

Nop! Whatsapp supports art right now. You may use it with art on cm11 and it is really fast with it. Cm12 is not fast enough for now. Not just whatsapp, the result is same for all the other apps. I know this rom will be better than cm11 by the time. But the time i told is not this time:)
Still can’t install in f2fs file system. I formatted all partitions as f2fs but when installing it always reverts to ext4. Please enable full f2fs supports and I’m sure performance will improve.

can someone confirm if summoners war is working? i tried it before an wasnt working
[BUG] bluetooth is super laggy,ml my phone is next to the speaker and its just impossible to listen to. There are sounddrops twice every second. I know it’s not the speaker since I used it with someone else’s phone and it worked perfectly.
Oh and the bug tracker doesn’t work.

Guys, does any one know how to customize (Grid Size) the icons on the App drawer. All the icons are closed to each other. There is a setting to Grid size option for the application on home screen mode, but not for App drawer.
I’m using the daily version and it works pretty well.
Just a little bit laggy when i open or close some apps.

– Call dropping when answering a call -> not observed yet
– Offline charging not working and freezing the device -> not tried yet
– Random reboots of the device -> not observed yet
– Videos not working with stock camera app (and Google Camera) -> Fluid in recording but still greenish/unviewable in playing, STILL IN PLACE ***
– Videos quite jerky with Camu -> Still jerky both in recording and in playing, STILL IN PLACE ***
– The Wi-Fi connection automatic disable when Internet is unavailable doesn’t reactivate when Internet becomes available, it stays with the “!” signal and the data connection remains on the mobile data. You need to reactivate the Wi-Fi connection manually. -> not tried yet
– Contacts sorting/format into the call registry -> STILL IN PLACE ***

I like how you are trying to get CM 12 on galaxy s3 mini, but can you PLEASE port it over to the refined version of the galaxy s3 mini (GT-I8200L GT-I8200 GT-I8200N and GT-I8200Q). This phone is very popular among the s3 mini user base.

Just saw Samsung Logo and screen turns off.

Hello Novafusion !! Where I can download the CyanogenMod 12.0 GoogleApps ?
Two things spotted:
– cannot force my phone when connecting to laptop to be in only charge mode
– I see restart pattern on my device – problem occur when I am listening music via Spotify and want to navigate – when I turn on mobile network (3g) then GPS (device only) and start Yanosik music stops, once I click to play again device restarts. Today I’ve tested this again and result was the same – device restart.
After 1 day of uptime:
– “No Service” on mobile network with high battery drain -> STILL IN PLACE (AND MORE FREQUENT)
– Call dropping when answering a call -> STILL IN PLACE
– Offline charging not working and freezing the device -> not tried yet
– Random reboots of the device -> not observed yet
– Videos not working with stock camera app (and Google Camera) -> Fluid in recording but still greenish/unviewable in playing, STILL IN PLACE ***
– Videos quite jerky with Camu -> Still jerky both in recording and in playing, STILL IN PLACE ***
– The Wi-Fi connection automatic disable when Internet is unavailable doesn’t reactivate when Internet becomes available, it stays with the “!” signal and the data connection remains on the mobile data. You need to reactivate the Wi-Fi connection manually. -> not tried yet
– Contacts sorting/format into the call registry -> STILL IN PLACE ***
Please work hard on these priorities:

I can’t record an audio on Whatsapp, does anyone know what to do? The phone recorder was working at the beginning but apparently it’s not working anymore either, which is weird couse “Ok Google” works just fine.

Not sure if this can be considered a workaround for the offline charge but I “discovered” a weird thing while playing with my wife’s i8190L.
– Power off the phone
– Plug the charger (it is expected to see the loading star)
– Attempt to start in recovery (power + volume up + menu)
The phone attempted to start recovery but for some reason while plugged it never did. However, while waiting for the recovery menu, I was able to see the white battery charging and then the screen turned into black. I released the buttons at that time and then just clicking the power button (short press) the screen showed the battery charging. The charging process appears to be longer than usual but at least it seems to be working.
Besides it reaches 100% while charging, once I restarted the phone it always shows 95~98%.
I tried the above at least 3 times to confirm if this workaround works… It worked for me… I hope it works for you.
DO NOT restart the phone while plugged. In my case the battery showed a weird value.
