RELEASE for S3 Mini
CyanogenMod 12.1
New stable release (20150620) of CM12.1 for S3 Mini is available!
Please, test it and report any bugs!
For flashing Lollipop, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!
Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation if you don’t updating from older CM12.0 release.
You need to perform a wipe if you’re migrating from software different than CM12.0!

Issues
- video taken by stock camera app is green, but some apps like Camu taking correct videos without any issues
- less than 2% of users are reporting issues with mobile data – just add new APN manually with settings proper for your provider and apply it to make 3G working

Are there any big bugs in CM 12.1 left?
No big bugs. İ have two bug ; İnstagram video crashes and camera video bug
Yes you cannot capture video in full resolution with camera, only in 640×480. Thats the reason I’m on cm11.
Yes, still a lot of bugs.
Here are my bugs
– Bad French layouts
– Bad French translation due to Cyanogenmod
– BLN Control doesn’t work, due to Novafusion kernel, apparently
– Still torch Long on-time.
– Still torch crashes when toggle several times… then the phone reboots
– No EAP-SIM
– Sometimes when I turn on the screen, the touch doesn’t work.
– Battery drains so fast !
– slower compared with previous releases
– During phone call, the phone reboots !!
– Problem when toggle “Data” icon (it can desappears, or exclamation mark is not shown)

Have you tried to decrease the volume and than increase again the volume of the headset while receiving the whatsapp call?
Remember this is a BETA ROM, we are the testers. Our feedback is what helps Nova to try to solve the bugs.
Try to move to Carbon 5.1.1, it is working pretty well.

Novafusion is never out of BETA. I haven’t found a final version yet where everything works like it’s supposed to. And how long have they been modding these ROM’s? Years.

Here are some bugs:
– I can’t toggle on and off the energy saving mode with the quick settings button. I need to hold the button (to open the menu) and switch it on there.
– Energy saving mode is not re-activated after disconnect the charger (if it was active before).
– Is there not invisible mode for bluetooth? I can’t find a setting for it (visible, visible for x minutes, invisible).
– Coupled bluetooth devices are not shown if bluetooth is deactivated. So i can’t change the actions in the profile settings with deactivated bluetooth. (Actions for wifi devices are working with deactivated wifi)
– I can’t configure the contact icon in the right top corner (lock screen, quick settings).

About bluetooh config, you don’t need visible time more, you active bluetooh, he stay 5min visible, after that you neet tap again, if you can’t tap, the bluetoof is on, but can’t visible to other…
realmente horrible, no pensé que iba tener tantos problemas instalando esto, un parto para sacar la google search bar, un quilombo para hacer aparecer el botón de DICTADO, el predictivo SPANISH latin america es un asco (las posibilidades que arrojan están todo mal acentuadas, “dé” que puta es de con acento? de dónde sacaron el diccionario?).
No se puede tener una screen “sin íconos” (hay miles de tópicos en internet sobre como podés lograr esto, con las versiones stock se podían crear tantos como uno quiera).
Y eso que solo llevo un día usando el mod.. que decepción

First decrease and inmediatelly increase it, sometimes it helps specially with income calls
Carlos in carbon 5.1.1 is less evident, but remember all are BETA ROMs.
I am pretty satisfied with the last carbon 5.1.1 ROM.
You can dig inside the setup and you find many things that the other don’t have.
Keep with you the gaaps for 5.1 and as a good advise, make a backup of your actual installation if for any reason you don’t like you can always wipe and restore your last installation.

I’ve been testing CM since 10 and carbon is a step higher in many ways.
I waited to move from 11 to 12.1 which I like, but as I said carbon is superior if you enjoy to tuich your S3 mini, which I do.
BLN don’t work, but who cares 🙂
Video you have to use something else than stock app like Camu
Sometimes touch screen is response less for a moment.
All of this little bugs are commons in either CM12.1 or carbon 5.1.1

En carbon si puedes ver los videos de IG, y por lo general algunas cosas funcionanmejor que en CM 12, pero he notado el sistema algo inestable con ciertas cosas

How can I apply this update. Currently I’m on CM 12.1 release from 04th June (20150604). It is necessary to flash new release using Odin? Or is there any more simple way to apply update using TWRP ? I really need some quick tutorial. Thank you 🙂

Instagram videos are working well in CarbonLP Version 5.1.1 20,150,618.
Used Cyanogend Mod 121, moved to Carbon, because these errors with videos were bothering me a lot.

I’m using cm 12.1 on my s3 mini.
The touch buttons: menu and back button are not working and not lighted.
Settings for backlight of the buttons found but no changes work.

But this time a lots of problems:
– WIFI Drop -> After some time Wifi drop connection and I need turning off an on again
– Reboots leave so much time and drain a lots of battery
– Battery wont correct display -> All times battery full charge show only 94%
– RANDOM BRINKS -> This is my big problem, for example if I turn torch on, after some time phone turning off… And.. BRICK, to back I need to enter in TWRP and re-flash ROM and clear cache and dalvik, in this process my battery drain a lots. And isn’t only in torch, some times random reboots make that too.
– Video Codec wont work properly -> Sometime YouTube work, sometime crash, in my games is the same, sometimes work videos from games, some crashs…

Is essential for an artist to be enabled OTG to connect devices such as a controller or when creativity is born during the day to use caustic for example.

Guys stop using novafusion mods. I just read through my phone logs and found that these people take logs of your phone, I especially found a log that took a screenshot of my phone and it managed to capture my login password. Don’t trust these people.!

I didn’t have to modify kernel. I just downloaded iheart and it works great.
iheartradio seems not compatible with s3mini
You must have a different phone than me. My phone is GT-i8190 International. I use iheart on my from everyday when I’m exercising. I have it program to 13 different station from California to DC. It’s compatible with s3-mini.

So far only I found a BUG:
– The dialer sometimes gives error. (Random error)

hi, i am surprised that nobody has the same problem, but as well as on previous version, i simply cannot make the phone silent. Whenever i choose silent profile and try to call the phone, it rings…. thats really annoying.. any help?

Please disable the CAPTCHA thing or allow people to create mirrors. Your servers aren’t friendly with LatinAmerica connections so is very hard to download your files; they crash in the middle and can’t be resume.
I don’t have this problem…. I donwload without problem in Brazil and after pass captcha ypu can use the link to put in JDownloader for example…
Brazil internet’s faster than mine, Venezuela.
Could be great those images are uploaded to a place like Mega, or just allow people to create mirrors!

What does this means:
CM sources update
toolchain update
changes as for lollipop releases
Odin package update
There has been several stable releases with only those updates, not bug fixes like video playback crash, app crash, slow to recognize SIM card and green video taken.
Also, there should be allowed to place mirrors some other place as downloads from your servers are very slow, not to tell they crash major times. I have to rety a download like 5 times until it finish right.
Anyway, thanks for your continue releases.
This is full of bug. I see
1. Offline mod charge full at %96
2. Online mod charge full at %95 or %97
3. I can t watch any video (vine&gif) on twitter or instagram
4. Sd card – after format from phone settings it is look like 0(zero) mb
5. Audio levels are be reseted every restart phone
6. That music player is really weird&terrible
7. That white menu background is really weird&terrible
8. Online mod charge countdown must be fixed. 15 mins for %95 and 17 mins for %96
9. Wifi and mobile signal shortcut buttons are working interesting. Or so slow i don t know.
Now i have 4.4.4 vers.

However, Phone Info – Updates CyanogenMod suggests no new updates.
How I can update the latest versions?

I just came here to tell you guys that you all should consideeer forgot CM 12 and migrat into Carbon, which is almost all free of bugs, but mostly of major CM12 bugs!
Really, I am totally amaze how nice and well works Carbon if compared to CM12!
