RELEASE for S3 Mini
CyanogenMod 12.1
New stable release (20150923) of CM12.1 for S3 Mini is available!
Please, test it and report any bugs!
For flashing Lollipop, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!
Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation if you don’t updating from older CM12.0 release.
You need to perform a wipe if you’re migrating from software different than CM12.0!

Issues
- video taken by stock camera app is green, but some apps like Camu taking correct videos without any issues
- less than 2% of users are reporting issues with mobile data – just add new APN manually with settings proper for your provider and apply it to make 3G working

Why dont get a fix to the video taking issue?
The only issue that i had since the first stable release was the video taking issue.
also the ‘couldn’t move app to sd card’

This is undoubtedly the best CM12.1 release yet. The entire UI is buttery smooth, even with Tasker and Android Wear running in the background. Performance is amazing (for the S3 Mini), the animation stuttering issue from the last release is gone, everything works perfectly, it’s extremely stable, and it even has support for multiple users. Once again, my only complaint is that apps cannot be moved to the external SD card. Keep up the great work, NovaFusion!

Thank you very much, but I would like to ask a favor, a little or not well, depending on your point of view, I would ask for arrumarem Green video in camera, seriously, I stand bugs, alias turns and meche the problem processor lock in 1Ghz happens, I restart, clean cache and everything else to the cell returns to normal, the phone have some backward transitions does not bother me a lot too, the signal falls from time to time or 3G fail sometimes also does not bother me nothing, but I felt very sad the other day that I can not shoot anything with the phone, know it’s a beta, but after a few months expect at least fix this, the rest of the problem stand waiting, like many of us, because we know that will be resolved in the best possible way. So please Pack Green in video camera

it might be extremely hard to do
samsung discontinued updates for device – which means no drivers for anything past jelly bean for s3 mini
every android version loses support with older drivers from older android verisons
we have to work with drivers from jelly bean – so we are lucky to have anything fully working
i recommend vivavideo to shoot video – vivavideo has their own drivers
Please try to make your story as short as possible and easily readable with line spaces…
There’s no one actively working on the green video problem anymore, because they aren’t able for fixing it.
i hope a best sound quality, like the C.11 or OMNI-ROM 5.1 with “GoldenGuy”
How can i use f2fs on the /system partition? /data and /cache works fine. But how can i change /system from ext to f2fs? Thank you very much
Always when i put thw phone to charge it only charges up to 50% and then it stop and doesn’t charges anymore.Plss fix this novafusion

installed it. Seems to be very stable. Except WIFI. Still I need to drop the connection, pick it up from the list, enter the password and connect to get it work again.
Is there any proposal, what might help to fix that? Is there anything to do, to supply additional information about that? Is it only me having that problem?

Hi, can you please help me? I downloaded this release, but i can’t flash it. TWRP says that I can’t install on top of incompatible data. I have 5.1.1 release from 9/12/2015. I had same problem with release from 9/16. I updated twrp recovery to 2.8, but problem persists. Any help here? Thanks, R.
You need to flash stock ROM from sammobile.com and flash again the ROM via odin and the TWRP if you want. But this update is soo bad. I am using virginity v14 right now

The most stable build ever Fast, smooth, 0 lag. But.. i have an issue with allll the cm versions : i cant move apps to sd card :'( my sd card is 16 gb. When i try move to sd it says No Enought Space but i have freaking 14 gb free space.. i tryed all the apps like Apps2SD but its not working..
Have you tryed Link2SD? It works perfectly fine for me.

The green video with camera stock is ….argh( Camu video recording is full of lag,the only alternative workin’fine is Vivavideo).

i loaded this rom then i just think i have to factory reset then i just tap factory reset in the settings menü but it doesen’t pass twrp and it is not opening then i intalled another rom via odin its cm11 lastest verison but its not still pass twrp or even opening someone help me please if my phone dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, the suggestion/auto-correct bar with mic logo still shown up even suggestion and auto-correct already turn off.. this only happen in messaging app, such as sms, line, bbm and others.

I need a little bit of help form you guys….Everytime I get a call or call someone (No matter where I do, as long as I put the screen to my ear and the screen turns off) Everytime after the call the screens is at the recents screen(Where we long press the Home Button screen) Is there a bug or something?

Hey guys, is anyone having the same problem as me?
After every call ( Or as long as I put my ear to the phone and the screen turns off) I always end up in recents screen (The one where we long press the Home Button)
Is there a fix to this, I don’t know whether this is about the proximity sensor or is it a bug?
Instagram is buggy, and download speeds are way too slow, other than that, it’s good.
Is it necessary to make a factory reset when switching between 11 cm and this, and what all needs to be adjusted for cm 12.1
Upgraded from CM 11 this Sunday…
Working:
– nearly everything including YouTube
Not working:
– taking videos (green crap with stock camera and “A better Camera” app)
– Fritz!Fon App (call partners can hear you but you can’t hear them)
– Logitech Squeezebox Controller app (not related to CM 12; Controller app won’t work with Android 5 at all and Logitech has ended support)

For search bar got to home screen -> press menu soft key -> pull from bottom up -> turn off search bar.

I have the same problem with S3 mini, CM12.1 and gapps (ARM, variant stock). However I can not pull from the bottom up to turn off the search bar. Any ideas? Cheers!

Hey. On my phone i found that charging via PC doesn’t work.
i installed cm12.1 by odin then i tried to update by twrp but it was not possible to update. link2sd is not working because has not SU permission because SUpro doesn’t work. I think i’ll back to CM11.

Help me please. The s3 mini I used was full of data from the former owner who gave the phone to me. So I installed CM 12.1 to the mini. It was working almost fine. Only email and browser where stopped. Tried 2 other installs and problems getting bigger. Problem with usb. But I could stil use the usbconnection? Tried to erase via odin. The mini now starts up displaying “Teamwin”. I can’t recover because it does’nt display this option. (and I didn’t make a backup because i didn’t need the data from the former ownwer, So yes now I regret that) But I’m still hoping there is a doctor in the room. The patient is still breathing.

2. Cannot Backup via TWRP (when i tap “Backup”, the phone suddenly off)

I’ve just installed CM12.1 on my I8190N and it seems to have an issue with the mobile network ?
I use to be able to callc all around the house end now i have hardly no network, sometimes just can’t find it at all … APN is fine, seem to have a hard time switching from 2 to 3G (favorite on 3G) ot not using full power reception ?
Otherwise, the rom is great my phone was useless until i change to this rom !

My Phone keeps on randomly setting the maximum CPU to 500 MHz. Does anybody else have this issue?
As i said on my previous port (deleted) i had mobile network signal problèmes on this ROM(12.1) with my I8190N. Just downloaded CM11.0 golden.nova.20150927 and everything works fine now 😉
Beside theses problèmes, you’ve don a great job on theses ROMs, to bad i can’t enjoy CM12.1 🙁
