And also I want to say something about beta9.

I don’t know exactly when it will be, but don’t worry, it will be soon. But we don’t want to publish unfinished release – please, be patient and wait, it won’t take too long.

As I said – will be soon, but I can write when – it’s causing too much problems for us, because we’re making everything in rush when we have established date.

That’s all, I promise – beta9 will be as soon as possible. We’re working on it really hard.

Ok, so now camera is really almost ready. We have preview, we know where, when, why and how it’s working.

Now we have only to fix some things, not directly related to HAL or libs, but which is needed to normal work of camera, without minor problems.

Stay tuned and don’t ask for ETA!

Guys, stop spamming!

1. I didn’t write ANYWHERE that’s today will be new patch or release. IT WAS BE LAGLOOSE!

2. I said new camera libs will be included in beta9, and I won’t change my opinion. You must to understand that, that’s my final decision. We want to fix some minor bugs in camera before release.

3. You think if you’re spamming there or at XDA we will make release faster? No, we’re making them slowly then. And also remember – on XDA is moderators, who only waiting to delete your post. I’m doing the same with comments, 2 or 3 guys have permanent ban on my blog.

Camera will be, but in beta9. CAN’T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?

Guys, I know you excited by my latest news about camera, but keep calm and wait! There won’t be any patches for camera, it’ll be included in beta9.

You want to know when beta9 will out? We want to know it too.

There’s still a lot of things to do before we publish it. Beta9 should be soon, but we don’t want to give you any accurate date, because always something could go back and we couldn’t give it to you at the time.

So stay tuned there, today should be one/two more news.

PS1. Recording isn’t working right now, because we don’t have video codecs (maybe Qualcomm will out OpenMAX for ARMv6, but I don’t think so, we still trying to get recording working using other way).

PS2. Sorry for long break without my blog, but server, where’s my blog was be temporary down. Now everything should be ok.

Ok guys, good news:

WE HAVE ALMOST FULLY FUNCTIONALLY CAMERA WITH PREVIEW ON GIO AND ACE.

When we’ll finish it, then we’ll modify it to get working on Fit/Mini – so don’t worry 😉

Great day, very big progress with camera, and thanks to Mardon and his discovery tomorrow can be more better.

There’s a chance we’ll get fully working camera on all devices really soon.

Also tomorrow I should fix video acceleration (yup, no more laggy HQ youtube or reboot after 10-15 minutes of watching videos).
