Beta1 of AOSP ICS is available!
Download is available in our DOWNLOAD page.
Changelog:
– fixed bluetooth (with working deep)
– fixed logcat spam
– added tweak to hide reboot menu
– added tweak to force launcher rotation
– partially fixed videorecording
– added missing daemons and services
– fixed wallpapers size (now it looks just gorgeous)
– reduced Launcher size to by a 6MB
– fixed librs crash (live wallpapers)
– fixed YT reboots
– fixed proximity
– fixed data counter (with working limiter
– the most smooth Ace/Gio ROM (yes, I’m sure!)

– RIL (call/messages/3G)
– hardware acceleration (graphic – 2d/3d)
– audio (both speakers/headphones/microphone)
– sensors
– bluetooth
– video hardware acceleration
– Wi-fi
– Camera (stock app doesn’t record video)

Maclaw, are you also working on cyanogen mod? I prefer this over AOSP because it’s more customizable (I think)… I don’t care if it’s CM9 or CM10 but I was just curios

You can use e.g. No-frills CPU Control app for this.

Just a question, how does one get the camera as the lock screen shortcut rather than the silent mode?
It’s small trick in framework, but I don’t remember where exacly.
Add ro.maclawstudio.cameratarget=true to your build.prop. Thanks

Hello Maclaw… in alpha 1 when I insert my voda**ne sim it crashed…. is that bug fixed?
I installed the alpha and this version and didn’t get any problems. I’m in India using a Vodafone SIM.
Here’s what I did:
1. Wipe data and cache
2. FLash zip
3. Wipe data and cache (again)
Try this.
I and a lot of other user have the same problem…..

Hi M&M bro… Hope you are doing good…. May god bless you for success of this ROM…… I want to tell you another issue is WI-FI scan intervals and switching on time is max…. Approx 1 minute it will take to switch on and other half minute to obtain ip address…

Wayland_ACE is working on CM10.1 right now. 4.2.1 is already on our Ace and I must say that it works quite well.

This is AOSP and not CM, so I guess there won’t be some of the useless applications that are included with CM. Correct me if I a wrong.
And I too hope that you will add Apps2Sd functionality in your AOSP. PLEASE I REALLY NEED THIS FUNCTION…
App2sd is working normally….
This ROM is absolutely fine. I’ve got rid of all useless CM features. I’ve got the neatest android experience on my phone with this version of ICS. For all those still wondering if they should update, this is by far the smoothest and the best ROM out here.
Mr. Maclaw and everybody else with the task! I don’t know who you people are, but whoever you are, you are just so awesome!

hi maclaw you posted that the mobile data counter is fixed
but i’m using 3g watch dog and the app doesn’t count my 3g data only the wi-fi data. why?

Just a doubt: On the dialer app, the numbers are formatted like 99 9999-99, but I wanted them like 9999-9999… my language is set to pt_BR. Is there a way to change this? Or should I hack the src 😉
thanks dude, this is the most stable rom i ever tested and it works gr8. the speaker sound works now, GPS can leave without for now. tool a few clicks without much problem.
one thing i was not able use was wifi tethering(also trying sone 3rd party tethering apps) and some times wifi wont start. hope this will be fixed.

So far working great . Not much of a trouble apart from the camera apps which crash sometimes . Otherwise great .
Could you add the “hybrid” interface from the paranoid android rom ?? That would make your already amazing rom exceptionally great .
It’s AOSP, I won’t add anything from other ROM, if it isn’t needed.
Am I the only one with wifi problems?
Can’t connect to home wifi at all, and that’s not fault of reuter.
i flashed this rom a few times already but same problem..

i then reflashed the stock rom then flash this again and again, but to no avail. Can anybody help me please ? what to do i tried clearing everything before and after flashing the rom but still same result 🙁 help 🙁
