Gracias

Regards and success! A humble question … Which versions of the Galaxy Ace are compatible? I had an Ace S5830B but I lost it in a robbery. I have another one but it is the S5830C. I know that its hardware is slightly different … Thank you.

    Hello Maclaw.

I’ve searched mostly everywhere but couldn’t find any “official” opinion from yourself, so, if you don’t mind me asking:

What application do you recommend to use in order to extend our storage? App2Sd? Are there any other that would work?

Thanks in advance for your reply and thank you very much for yet another awesome release!

  • Silva says:

When i try to unlock with PIN (or enter SIM-PIN) the keypad comes up but is too small. Numbers can hardly be read…
    Nevertheless, it’s a great ROM!

  • Fantico says:

thank you very much for your very good rom, I follow from the cm7 version with my ace.
Now I have a i9070 and can not find anything to this terminal, I see that many people are interested in having cm10.1, but no one has dared to develop.
I wonder if you’ll have time for this, it would be very interesting to have a rom of you in this terminal.

    Sorry for my bad English
    Greetings from chile

  • SilenZ says:

Thanks Maclaw! You and your team are awesome!
+ Very fast and stable release
+ OpenVPN working!! tun.ko standard in ROM, YEAHHHHH 🙂

    – Gallery not working correctly, images are treated as video’s and can’t be displayed
    – SIM PIN keyboard not positioning well on screen
    – Reboot option “missing” when holding powerkey

Keep up the good work team! You are going the right way! 🙂

  • Kym Keive says:

Hey Maclaw, my compliments again for a job well done!!!

I have a question for you:

at this point in JB dev when you already have 2d/3d hard accel do you expect to extract further increase in performance/smoothness (at general use of the phone) like you did along your releases of ICS, or would you feel that 4.2.2+ is getting to the edge of what Ace/Gio’s processing power can deliver?

Thanks in advance for taking your time to read this…

  • cem says:

Thx for all guys…Really great job !!!§!
How can i turn off button backlight ?

  • hrincon says:

Testing right now and everything seems ok so far except for a few bugs that I’m sure you’re working on. But I’m curious about the kernel.

I noticed you mentioned “fixed overclocking” in the changelog. I don’t want to sound noob but, Is this the same kernel from ICS AOSP ported to this ROM? That kernel is an awesome piece of work and I know you wouldn’t add anything dangerous to our phones. Just curious…

  • matias says:

    how to take screenshot?

  • Vlad says:

    is 4.1 or 4.2?

  • Another small issue:
When I Using the gallery I cannot see the pictures because of all them are treated like videos (which obviously you cannot play). If you take a Picture you can see it in the Gallery but after a while it follow the same destiny: a video.

    Can anyone help me?????????

  • logineimer says:

    Hey team!

Thanks your your release. I encountered bad battery life…maybe it is because my battery could be calibrated bad…
    But that’s not my question.

Is there a way to enable android’s navigation bar?

    Hope to get an answer.

  • Hugo says:

So, if I come from another family of JB ROMs my installation instructions would be:
    Wipe data/factory restore
    Wipe cache
    Wipe dalvik cache
    Wipe battery stats
    Format System
    Flash this ROM
    ?
Would I need to download gapps?

  • JCFC says:

Is possible also to have the same release without gapps? 🙂

    Hi …
Just tested this beta during 1 week.
Just tried to downgrade to AOSP ICS final 2, and after the update followed by Davlik cache wipeout, the boot process seems to never complete (just get the colored stuff over and over). Should the downgrade work normally via CWMR or am I missing something ?
    Thanks …

  • Pop says:

    Hello…
I was wiping Davlik cache only. Downgrade worked fine after wipe cache and factory reset like you said.
    Thanks for your help….
