CM10.1 (Ace/Gio) release is available!
Due to that we have achieved stable release with full major functionallity working, we switched with this release to more frequency nigthlies (once a week). Every have updated CM/AOSP sources and some improvements in kernel and other things. Changelog won’t be listed for nightlies.

Google Apps aren’t included. You can get them separately from here and flash in recovery after installation of CM10.1.

BTW … not sure if it was something fixed in this ROM or if google fixed it, but calendar sync is now working again.

I have just installed the rom on Galaxy s3 mini. I have no FM radio. What I am doing wrong?
Is there the FM Radio? The default rom that came with the phone had the radio and was working.
Please tell me what to do.

i already have previous cm10.1…do i need to wipe data…nd i have already partitioned my sd card…wil updating cuz me to recreate the partition??

Same here on Gio. Play says there’s no connection.

Or just install an update leaked from nexus 4, you can download it from xda forum. It works for me.

You just download the gapps zip file from maclaw website or from goo.imm, put on your sd like every rom and flash it! First flash the rom and after flash the gapps. Finish 😀

+1 I’m using AOSP ICS on a Gio. Works great, but I miss Jelly Bean. I also like to see AOSP JB final. Thanks Maclaw for your efforts!
Guys this 10.1 without gapps is damned good! Is fast almost cm10 and a lot more of aosp in my opinion 🙂

Thank you very much to all the team you have fix all the issues i was having with the previous release 😀 EVERYTHING is working now! this is a very stable and smooth rom recomended to all ace and gio users

I was wondering… Google and Cyanogen have release a patch about the new apk-level issue in Android (bug 9695860). It has to do with the security of our phone. Did you include it in this release? Or are you planning to do it in the next? I think it is a priority-one issue, since it has to do with our security.
when a message came why the phone light is not openin? I dont want pop-up. but if I dont open pop-up my light is not opening

I have CM9 final 3 and i would know two things:
– must I format /system if i would upgrade to CM10.1?
– is there any services.jar patched for this release?

maclaw, what is the right md5 checksum for cm10.1_gio.maclaw.20130710.zip? i was download it twice using different connection/internet provider, but it always give me 78f995527bb3d5f1bbd5eea074d9e284, not 02c608b30448a89fec35f46d045b8703 like in the download site.
Which app2sd application would you recommend ?
Link2SD works fine for me, but I haven’t tried any other.
How is its stability compared with CM9 final 3?
I just wish to pick the one with as least issues as possible.

Anyone experiencing a lock screen bug with the music controls? I see an empty lock screen and have to swipe it to see the music controls.

Mam poprzednią wersję i nie chce mi się robić czystej instalacji. Rozumiem, że jeśli wcześniej usunąłem kilka aplikacji systemowych, czcionki i media, ten update je doinstaluje na nowo? Mam więc pytanie.
1. Czy mogę (w sensie – czy to zadziała) rozpakować ściągnięty zip z romem, wywalić co mi niepotrzebne, spakować jeszcze raz i tak zainstalować?
2. Czy mogę w ten sam sposób dodać Gapps do paczki z romem? I tak to zainstaluję, więc po co osobno.
I have downloaded live wallpaper from google play but i cant install, its showing loading wallpaper and when i press set wallpaper, its cm 10.1 default wallpaper is coming . plzz help

First of all, thanks for great ROM. But I have one question – how can I turn on quick access buttons on the “notifications sunblind”? In previous ROM I had 5 buttons, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc.

like the rom… you found the install package on the downloads site under the CM10.1 you don’t need wipe
1 – Download from the link at the top of this page;
2 – Copy to sdcard;
3 – Reboot into recovery mode;
4 – Select install zip from sdcard;
5 – Select gapps zip and Install it;
6 – Reboot;
Does it have Init.d support? Need for sd-ext.
Love the inclusion of the DSP Manager and the Email application. Voice Search now works too. Great ROM. Seems faster than the previous versions!
First of all Great work from you guys. I have noticed some small issues in Conference call and switching from music to call, for this we have to plug out and plug in the head set jack to hear the call. Search widget is not of 4.2.2 it would look great if it like the nexus kind of search widget. As in earlier comments Live wall papers are not loading and Rest is a like cream. Thanks you once again guys for giving us awesome ROMS.
It would be great to have already the updated version of the Google Play.
Also forgot to mention the option to turn on/off the screen-off animation is a very welcome addition.

hello, thanks for your work above, I love my samsung ace s5830 and thanks to you I have not been outdated but the bad thing is the battery is exhausted soon, even more, it recharges way too soon and runs even faster by example , when it gets plugged in 100%, when you put 90% disconnect when I open any application and put 80% and so on, and dropped me an application to calibrate the battery without any result, ahy some help for this .. …

well you need go to mounts and storage>format system,data,chache and reinstall the all package after a wipe
if the “telephone contact group” if the menu has options

Tried to install both the CM10 as CM9 on Gio GT-S5660 with TWRP, but no succes. It is stuck on the boot screen…CM9 will continue past the boot screen, but give a encryption error message explaining i need to make a factory reset, but if I do this it doesn’t fix the error…what i am doing wrong?
I started from fresh factory reset => root the phone => install TWRP =>None of the ROMS will go past boot..

I need tun.ko module, for the Ace, to put OpenVPNConnect apk working…it’s given me the following error em connecting:
“Problem creating TUN interface
Possibly the tun.ko kernel module is not loaded in you Android Kernel”

I’ve tried on my ace. works fine, but i don’t like the trebuchet interface. I’d prefer go launcher. installed it works fine, but now i’ve double launcher..it would be nice to remove the unused one…may it be possible?
Use the File Manager and go to System/System/App and remove the Trebuchet.apk file. Only remove it if you have another Launcher.
This ROM works in the Galaxi ace S5830B version? I read the post, but only says that insn’t work in S5830I and S5830M versions

Bluetooth does work. Only bluetooth together with audio devices like car hifi doesn’t always work due to bug in Android.
In Ice Cream it does work.
Hi! I have three problems with the latest release (July 17th 2013) on my Gio:
1) your bug report system does not send me my password so I cannot login and submit my problems there!
2) The contacts on my SIM cards are not listed (hopefully they were not erased!)
3) The USB accessory support does not work (it is declared but it does not work)

Gapps don’t work in my Gio. I don’t have idea why.
There’s no problem with install at other Maclaw’s ROMs but in 10.1 after zip is installed in CWM and device is rebooted there is no any gapp in system.
I’ve tried zip from this site and from others (allways gapp for 10.1) and problem is te same.
ROM flashed few times, gapps the same. Full wipe done.
Any sugestions how to resolve this ?
I had the same problem. Solved by using latest CWM (6.0.3.2)
Hi, I just installed this ROM on my Gio and noticed that screen rotation works (even for lockscreen, which I set to rotate), but not for the home screen (It doesn’t go into landscape). Is that normal? (In previous CM’s it rotated fine)
