  • Alan says:

you forget user of ace/gio we are much more than s3 mini user

  • Benz says:

This is based on CM10.1, there’s no Android 4.0 for S3 Mini cause it never came with it

  • Yoshi says:

BT is not work for me !

  • Agustin says:

Hey, great job! I have the previos AOKP, do i have to wipe and install, flash a stock rom and install, or just install it? Great work

  • Resio says:

@up,no,You don’t,just flash rom and gapps

sa szanse na opcje wylaczenia podswierlania klawiszy menu i wstecz?

    • Macław says:

Są jakieś appki w gplay do tego przeznaczone.

      • Resio says:

A found a way to do it,for anyone interested to disable the button backlight:
        go to / sys/ class/ leds/ button-backlight/ brightness

open it and set it to ‘ 0 ‘ and set permissions to r-r-r

  • alamri007 says:

“no camcorder and buggy panoramic mode” Everywhere …

  • Michael says:

    No service, no bluetooth, …
What should i do with a rom that doesn’t handle simple cellphone functions?

  • Jesseee says:

Alamri007,penreturnspenreturns and Michael WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Maclaw studio is doing amazing job with s3 mini and u are just complaining. How could they fix camcorder just like that, they are not wizards.. And btw latest cm10.1 works very well except camcorder. I didn’t even imagine that it would be possible to get so well working 4.2.2 rom like maclaws cm10.1 this fast. Great work Maclaw!

  • michael says:

What about paying those (poor) developers to create something you want.
If you have no service or bluetooth, just do a factory reset and a reboot afterwards. (And that’s something maclaw already said in other replies)

  • Math says:

How to install this ROM? Do I need to use Odin or via CWM? If it’s via CWM does it need a wipe ROM?

Sorry for my bad english and noob question. I’m new on this one but thanks in advance.

  • aluk4rd says:

Battery life is huge 😉 much better than in cm 10.1…. i am not a huge fan of aokp, but its still so much better than the boring stock or stock based roms…. but if you could update your last cm 10.1, so the battery life would be the same (or better 😉 ) it would be veeery nice 😉

No new bugs found on it….

  • Tindo says:

Can anyone confirm that GPS is really working on this release. On the previous release I could only get 4 to 5 satellites which are OK for fixing my position but insufficient for navigation. On the stock rom I get 10 – 14 satellite even when I’m indoors.

    • Tindo says:

It appears the GPS thing affects all CM10.1/AOKP based roms for our device. Perhaps we have to wait for Samsung to release 4.2.2.

  • Michael says:

    Sorry guys,
surely i would pay if i get maclaws cm working. But after every installation something still doesn’t work as expected.
Of course i did factory resets, permission fixes – everything. May be it’s because i have the N-version? I’m using TWRP 2.5.0.0 for recovery / flashing.
What about all the others? Are they all stupid or could it be that the developer did something wrong?
I have respect of programming work, as described above my daily work is programming, so do’nt tell me i do’nt honor Maclaw’s efforts.
By the way: did any one of you paid for Maclaw’s work?

  • kimerawph2 says:

Hi. I still have no bluetooth after doing wipe cache / dalvik… There are any kind of solution?

  • Benz says:

Yes Michael, you can help developers with donations so they can actually buy the device. The bigger the team the better the chances are to move things faster.

  • Benz says:

Bluetooth still a no go. Wiped cache/dalvik twice now.

  • Adilson says:

    video camera to record?

  • steven dempster says:

same problems with bluetooth not staying on and attempts to do so cause it to flick off and on, it does this on aokp,cm 10.1 and p.a. 2 aswell. reverted back to stock rom 4.1 til sorted. done dalvik and full reset tried flashing latest modem.bin in case it’s that but no joy.

    Steve

  • Blackra1n says:

    Android 4.3 is officially out!
Would be possible to port it somehow to S3 mini or 4.2.2 will be the last? 🙂

  • HackDSL says:

Anyone have a FM radio app working??

  • gianjaeger says:

gapps not working on me..it says no connection but im connected to wifi with good signal..

  • novacrap says:

It’s incredible! All it’s working (95% of features except camcorder and panoramic mode) and has received an early-stage ROM of Android 4.3… for the Galaxy S Advance, whenever a ROM is released, there appear hundreds of problems (flickering, wi-fi tether, crt-off and video playback). Could the Maclaw team help TeamCanjica?

  • Ed says:

I noticed that all pictures I take have the same, wrong exif:DateTime stamp:
    exif:DateTime: 1970:01:01 01:00:00

This happens both with the standard camera app and with Camera Zoom FX. It never happened with the stock S3 ROM by Samsung, so I suspect this is something going wrong in my AOKP build (20130720). I haven’t tried other ROMs.

It’s especially annoying since Dropbox Camera Upload uses this field to generate the filename. I now have more than a few pictures taken in 1970 😉
