Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1 version or migrating from Oliver’s CM10.1, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

I’ve Got it working using an older version of youtube app.
Great work guys, as always a smooth rom. But I found a persistent bug, it appears that the phone doesn’t read the obb folders or something… well the ones I add myself, because I have a bunch of backed up games (it’s faster than to download them on the play store) and the phone says an app is of 5.53mb when the obb file is of abaut 1.6gb, so is this an error of my phone or is it the rom? thanks
Did you put them in the internal storage? If not, copy them there.
I did put them in the internal storage.. but it still doesn’t work..
Install the app first (e.g. Asphalt 8: Airborne, then put the obb files in internalsd/Android/obb/(name of Asphalt 8 folder that usually starts with com.) if that still doesn’t work you probably need the gameloft folder with the sub-folders and all that
I do that, and it doesn’t work.. it looks like it doesn’t link the obb folder to the app… coz I’ve tried asphalt 8 on my nexus 7, and it works, so I know it’s not the game. Also I’ve discovered that is only with the obb files, because dead space uses the conventional Android/data and it works normally…

Maclaw, when i select “Only Use 2G Network” and restart the phone,it returns to 3G Network again 🙁 Can you solve this problem ? 🙁
This problem’s solve. Flight mode on and 10 second after flight mod off only 2g. Problem is solved 🙂

But the problem of locking YouTube still, I know the problem is the ROM. And if CM10.1.X upgrade to solve the problem? Still have a problem with YouTube is that the image degradation is not real in Full HD.

In each update improvements are substantial, only I wanted them the following if not too much trouble, it will be possible to place a configuration section of gestures, for example see the area of notifications without drag the bar.

I found a version at xda dev forums. But there are varios websites with older version apk apps.
If a new update of CM ROM do I need to wipe my data/factory reset? It is really important to this step to update a Custom ROM.
No you don´t need to wipe etc.

No. No wipe etc. needed. Just flash the new Version. Also Gapps.
I have installed today this rom, works great, but mobile connection and mobile signal doens’t work.

Reinstall with wipe via CWM recovery. Or use ADB via recovery and enable it again.

Hey Maclaw, I regularly download your CyanogenMod ROMs but I still don’t understand the App2SD part because it never works for me, how did it work for you? Do you use an app to test it out or did you just enable it in the Android Kitchen?
And I also don’t understand offline charging, could somebody explain it to me? (I know it sounds dumb but it just sounds like normal charging, because you can do that whether you’re on or offline can’t you?)
You can charge your phone while it´s turned off.
Updated just now with no problems, and all seems fine so far. I was getting really good battery life anyway, so it will interesting to see what this ROM does! Offline charging… er, does that mean charging the phone when it’s turned off… because I’ve never had a problem with that either! Keep up the great work 🙂

Which model do you have? I can join WIND IT network, but it looks like having some network problems (bad signal).
Anche io uso wind italia e da me 2g c’e non so 3g perche non sono coperto a casa mia.
S3 mini GT-I8190 H3g brand first, now I’ve flashed a stock rom without brand.
Same problems with H3g sim.
Maclaw hi first of all thanks for your work by the great development you do for the mini s3. peirte wanted to fix the problem of the capacitive buttons light up when you touch the screen and most of the time are on. also that better battery life because in less than five hours and the rest is this perfect acabando.por very smoothly and without any fault or mistake. THANKS

for me battery has become worst, and the RIL is worst too. the lag between answering and listening voice is now evenlarger. I think it is because there are too many update. i nk i’ll wipe….
According to my stats, Android system has used 165% of the battery… I don’t know what it means but one thing is sure:

Same problem as kubakos, draining battery like hell and seems to be a bit slower than privies version imo. Still grade job.

After updates the battery lasts 6 hours, I had to wipe … now the battery lasts exactly 1 day 11 hours 48 minutes (clean with battery calibration)
seems like many user said that if wipe will have better performance :/

Small bug – when a call comes in, the screen stays off.
Well, IMO the battery life is NOT as good as the 20130908 ROM… at the end of an average day, I used to be left with 75%, now I am left with only 50%.
Pleas look at CPU spy to determine GHz bug. After each upgrade and having WiFi enable the bug appears. Disable WiFi, shutdown, wait a few seconds, restart and enable WiFi. Have about the same battery drain with each update before (1.5 days).
1000MHz bug appears to be fixed with the new 20130924 ROM. I am just going to reboot again with WiFi on… yep, CPUs on 200MHz when idle…. yay! Great work!
