do i have to wipe something when im flashing from the release couple days ago?
Is says that you dont if you read the release notes.
Ty downloading! 😀
From the post:
“If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2 version or migrating from Oliver’s CM, you don’t have to perform a wipe!”
No.
Beautyful changelog !
vou testar agora, seu trabalho é facinante!
Obrigado!
Cara, fale inglês de preferência (Man, say in english)
I will test now, their work is fascinating!
Thank you!
I advise doing a clean install from the CM to 10.1 CM 10.2!
Thanks guys! I’m installing it from the first release and works better and better!
Today I went from CM10.2 to DModV6 and back to CM10.2. With only a few minutes I could feel the huge difference in speed, graphics and personalization.
Today I’ll try this new release.
Thank you so much Maclaw you are the best keep working on 4.3 please thank you 🙂
What about battery life on this release guys.
Thank for your work, i want to ask if the CM 10.1 will be updated yet or is the final version, because i know that you wait the Kit Kat 4.4 Android:)
Thank
I am on 20131016 CM10.1 and it _very_ stable… 5 days without a reboot. I think I will wait a week or 2 more before trying this CM10.2 ROM 🙂
Is this CM10.2 ROM Android 4.3?
Yes, 4.3.1
Oooo, cool.
Exacly 😉
First, thanks for your work but i cant use 2g network, when i select it,it returns to 3G mode again when i restart my phone. Please fix it,if its possible. I tried because of telling this 🙂 Thanks Maclaw.
Hi, firmware cool! Please make Russian keyboard when dialing.
Good
While watching YouTube videos and someone message me in Facebook it suddenly pause and freeze the video that i was watching that’s the bug i am experiencing last “October 21st, 2013” release. I hope it well fix in this release update. Thank You For Supporting S3mini ^_^
Smooth ! But still the brightness control hasn’t been fixed. Cheers ! =)
whit this update the play store crash continusly !!! Why ??? T.T
with this latest update my phone does not charge anymore when turned on (when turned of it charges normaly!) … i’ve tried different power sources, with one my phone thinks that i’ve put headphones into the phone, and the other charging unit doesn’t even react!
Is it already stable enough for daily use?
Yes! Definitely!
thanks a lot. everything works just fine. The only issue is that it takes much more time for Wifi to be connected (comparing with the CM10.1).
I did a fresh installation, cleaning cache and everything else ..
Auto brightness does not work …
I had not problems with 3g and 2g;
There was no reboot;
Today I will do a test with the battery and count among other novelties.
In all, the ROM is amazing, great job.
Our device has no auto brightness controller. We just have a proximity sensor.
There is a way to control the screen brightness automatically, its an app, what you can download thru the Play Store. Its called Lux Auto Brightness. This program uses the front camera instead of our non present light sensor to read the lux values.
Option needs to be removed so until then I do not use this option, I prefer swiping the status bar.
Guys, I think we have something similar inside as the i9300 model, just on the other side: http://vegacom.eu/product-eng-23476-Front-Camera-with-Proximity-Sensor-for-SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S3-SIII-i9300.html
The S3 mini has the front camera and the proximity sensor, which turns off the display during a call.
There is no light sensor. That’s why also the stock ROM has no auto brightness!
The App Lux Auto Brightness allows you to read out these sensors and use the camera for auto brightness.
What option? Auto brightness is cm feature and will not be removed. But as u said swiping statusbar is handy way to control screen brightness 🙂
Thanks to you Maclaw my s3 mini becomes much more faster and fluid than with Samsung official stock ROM! Now it’s really stable, i’m using cm 10.2 for one week and it works really good. Continue like this Maclaw!! Se will wait for android 4.4 when it will be released.. 😉
I updated my phone, but this error appears after boot:
“Unfortunately, Trebuchet has stopped”
I had to go back to the version of the day 19/10 ;(
I appreciate your work!!!
Try wiping data cache and dalvik cache. Some people have faced problems moving from cm10.1 to cm 10.2 😀 ofc make backups about your data..
I’ve done that but it did not work, installed the new version of the 26th and now everything works fine
Ok. Great to hear that 26th update fixed that for u! 🙂
Why the developer options are missing?
The same reboot problem on this, but definitely it’s more stable. I even find it faster on the ui
Thanks Maclaw! Waiting for and stable CM10.2 and PAC rom updated.
It’s a great job! I found some bugs handing me the cm10.1 to this:
– The automatic brightness adjustment does not work
– When I run titanium backup tells me that my su version may not work with some versions of android 4.3 correctly. (after you have installed on my device SuperSU the problem is over, I think)
– I had to reinstall many programs would not start after upgrading from 10.1 cm to 10.2 cm but now all work
for everything else…. wonderful ROM!
When I say “I found some bugs handing me the cm10.1 to this” I wanted to say I found some bugs changing cm10.1 to cm10.2
sorry for my bad english
Our device doesn’t have light sensor so auto brightness can’t work on any rom 😉
Thanks for your answer!
Another thing I did not mention, is that when the phone is off and charging and you press the button to turn on, it does not. The only way I’ve been able to is turning the phone without being charged and then once on the charger plug.
Thanks again
HW acceleration now works 100% for Chrome, but not with VLC (and I believe MX Player won’t have it either)
On my I8190N I don’t get any form of signal, my network shows up as “Unknown” and it refuses to search for networks. Baseband I8190NXXALL6. I’ll happily post logcats and try flash any possible fixes if your willing to look into this, maclaw?
Can I return to 10.1 installing on 10.2?
Hey guys, Im not sure but can someone confirm it. I can’t download the latest release of cm.???
UI is not as smooth as CM10.1 but overall it is a great rom.
Thanks Maclaw!
Great job guys, Thanx. CM 10.2 S3Mini.
maclaw i have strange pixels instead of bootlogo, can you upload again fix-bootlogo-i8190l.zip thanks
It is still uploaded.
Thanks, Maclaw i flash but when i turn on it apper strange pixels (and not the logo of Samsung S3 mini) then it apper correctly cyanogen mod bootlogo… what can i do to fix that?
flash the maclaw studio/original boot logo. download it in Download>Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini> Extras
It’s rare but i got some reboots.
Czesc Maclaw. S3mini z CM10.2 po podlaczeniu do ladowarki samochodowej wlacza odtwarzanie muzyki i sie nie laduje.
Niektóre chińczyki tak mają.
Everything works great after flashing the rom, the only concern, it’s that when I the ac charger does not charge, instead it activates the music player. Only charges via usb conected to the computer or with the ac charger qhen the cellphone is off.
Keep up the good work. S3 mini user
Thanks!!
