RELEASE for S3 Mini
SlimROM 4.4.4
New release (20140630) of SlimROM 4.4.2 for S3 Mini is available!
For flashing KitKat, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!
If you want to say thanks by donating us using PayPal, feel free 😉
Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version or migrating from Oliver’s CM, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

Great ROM, fast and smooth, but I am having random black screen issues, and phone not responding when using Google Now Launcher. Seems OK with standard ‘Laucher’
Correction: crashing was not due to SlimROM / Google Now Launcher, but an app that wouldn’t update correctly.
It’s now running smoothly.
This ROM is staying on my S3 Mini!
great!!! thanks novafusion! one question, does anyone know how to change cpu governor in this ROM? i cant find the “performance” option or similar.

Done it, i format the system, the cache, the sdcard(not externalsd) in recovery mode, and now works perfect 🙂
One question about format…
I want to make a full wipe of my phone, to fully experience this rom, but I have many questions..
First, about the advance wipe section in TWRP, could someone explain all the options displayed here? I mean, I understand dalvik (programs customization), cache, but i’m kind of lost with system and data.
I read your tutorial about f2fs, it seems deletes and make you choose your file system…
System, dunno. Internal storage I suppose it just delete the info in the sdcard folder.
Other thing, if data format all the phone, its vital to backup the efs folder? Do you recomend to do this?

Two unimportant things after installing on my phone:
1. The Softphone-Icon (on the left-bottom) is Randy and no phone handset. By clicking I get the message “App not installed”. After deleting and use the right one from the app-overview everything Looks fine.
2. The Mail-Client doesn’t work.The client comes up and close in the next second.For me it’s not important, because the client in the original ROM is buggy too. But I think it’s an Information to check.
Regardless, all together it’s a successfull created ROM I’ll never miss.

hello i have a problem while i m installing slimrom..i get a message when the phone open after install. ” cyanogenmod account has stoped ” and the phone just dont open..any idea how to fix it pls?

Thank you for this release! Encryption works the best in this one as well, but the annoying Dropbox date bug is present… I guess it is on every KitKat ROM? Should I try Jellybean?

For me Everything workfs fine with this Rom. After testing CM and OmniRom this one is way better and faster, thx a lot NovaFusion.
Doesn’t work for me, Constant Theme Provider has stopped working error, can’t use phone at all.
Every time i go to install 4.4.4 in recovery mode it crashes
after flashing it ask my pin. i know i put it correctly but it wont allow me. please help
after instalation and rebooting, unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped.
after pressing OK its says Unfortunatrely theme provider has stopped.pressing ok its give the same message.

Sorry, I’ve some problem with music app..
I got a problem… After installing the OS all seemed ok, but now I can’t launch my phone any more… The Slimkat screen appears and blinks but it stands for hours… Is there a solution to this problem ?
Worked! I now have kitkat! Only one thing…My back button does not work (nor the settings button) that S3 mini had. do they work somehow else?
I have made the home key through the custom buttons setting to act like back button. But can back button work like before

guys i dont know how to start a new board but i have a question that i need help with.
i have just come out of a h.m.p holiday camp before i went in i used this site daily and there was only a couple of s3 mini s either with an N or not.
i come out and buy one of these s3 mini gt-i8200N and i find that not only does this site not support it but no body does.
could one of u talented developers please do us a recovery and a ROM kit Kat would be great i would be happy to pay or donate or what ever.
there must be 1000,s of people buyin this phone every day
