I have some doubts:
1- Charging the battery works with cell off now?
2- You Tube in its latest version works?
try update or reinstalling by recovery mode, that solves the bug of charging in my case

Probably the downloaded file is corrupted. Download it again.
MD5 is verified both on PC and Device the file cannot be flashed, pretty sure it is a build error! 🙂

What i meant was that the build of the rom was proberly damaged by the build process on they build server, i can be wrong but i cant flash this update, the MD5 match on both my pc and S3 mini.

Backup your mobile and do full wipe (factory reset). Then try to install ROM again. If it won’t help, then try re-install TWRP again.
It´s such a pain in the a** to do a full wipe /factory reset and get all your settings done again. I was hoping for a simple solution. But thanx anyways.

hello. i have a problem. i’ve just installed cm11 (the latest version) but now it doesn’t mount ext sd card the format is exFAT but still doesn’t recognise it. i’ve done reset from storage section but nothing changed. any ideas how to fix it; thanks
try to download another rom then install that rom.. and then install cm11 again

Thanks man! I’ve already tried recent AOSPA and CWM11 on my i8190l, but the SlimROM from may/2014 is the best of them all even being a pretty much older version.
I download a flash version , if i wan to flash it to odin , is there any way i can do it without downloading again the odin version file ?
Clock freeze?
For me no bug since the older update.
I got clock freeze only on the cLock and Digital clock widget, and any other widget that shows time. the phone clock works just fine for me.
My is also freezing the clock on the lock screen. We’ll see if the next update fixes.
I restarted the phone and stopped locking the lock screen clock. In my case was resolved.

I started using Timely app/widget as a workaround
indeed, the internal clock works good (the alarm goes off). but i still get the frozen digital clock widget on lock screen.
I won’t update just yet. It seems there are problems with this build
I still have problems with this. The top clock get freeze and my alarm does not work as well…. Same with cyanogen… With carbon… 🙁

2 convert youtube app application user
3. delete data / cahe the Youtube application and then uninstall the application youtube
4 verify that no residual files (clean master or SD Maid)
5 youtube download and install version 5.2.27
6. with Link2SD application, convert youtube application system
It works !!

Offline charge bug solved?
For me it still works without problems.
Still not working for me.
Unfortunatelly offline charge bug keep on this version. The phone freeze and I have to take off the battery to reload Android.
Just push on/off button for 8 seconds after the charge and then reboot the phone.
As I said, it freeze. Power button doesn’t make anything. I have to remove te battery.
Tried clean install?
I do not have that issue on my device with current release.
Try this out, works for me: unplug the battery charger then press the power button until the s3 logo is showed. Now plug the charger.

What about GPS fix getting on your phones?
My own was quite fast and stable some months ago but now (I don’t remember when it started to be worse) it takes some minutes to get fix and it looses very often.
I tried GPS status & toolbox and some other apps managing AGPS but it doesn’t seem to be better
GPS works like a charm… I’ve made clean install on last releases and no issues with GPS.

I still have one minor bug : Everytime I try to dial via numbers I get a white screen first. So I have to go back once and try again for a second time. It usually works then.

Hey guys! Quick question (n00b level over 9000) I’ve been searching on the web but i want to be 100% sure. I am currently ruining a older build from 2- September. IF i take this rom and flash it directly from TWRP, with no wipe/factory reset/etc, will the phone take it has a update or do i have to take care again of all the settings, apps and all that?
(unrelated) It worked perfectly for 2 weeks, no bugs at all but now if i unplug the phone from the charger it still shows “charging” until i power down and pull the battery out (reboot dosnt cut it) . Any idea what caused this?

I have a question, I have in my Slll CM11 V.20140916 mini and would like to upgrade to the new version that launched today V.20140917 and I wonder if without the same procedures as the first time when it was still stock … I must not WIPES make ??? //// I wanted to tell you that in their latest version of CM11 20140916 battery is consumed very fast even while idle cell and another problem is that you can not charge the phone turned off because it gets stuck …
While adding new contact it started asking me where to store it: on the phone only or on google account. I can’t find option ‘don’t ask me again’.

there are some problem with this phone, because sometimes, random recurrent, happens that clock and clocks widget stopping their activity.
Visually you see only clock or widget clocks with hours block.
in this case if you have setting some alarm happens that the alarms do anything, when you touch the phone for defreeze from stand-by you can listen the alarms sound together, after the hour that you set for alarm
with stock ROM this problem happened once or twice
but after i installed CyanogenMOD happens without control

Amedeo, it is a well known issue called clock freeze and you can read more about it withing this discussion. You can find a solution for it too.
Hello. Today I was late at work because of the clock problem. If the clock is freezing the alarm is not triggered… Please fix that, Is important for all your users. I know installing every version of this rom is not the best way of having a stable phone but I am expecting to have the clock and the calling option always working.

AYUDA…llevo instalando actualizaciones de desde que tenia el galaxy ace ya hace casi tres años pero últimamente desde que an puesto el aroma istale no me aclaro cada vez que parpadeo me desaparecen todas las apk y configuraciones instaladas…no se que hago mal sigo los pasos correctamente cuando me da la opción save log la pulso pero igualmente me hace una instalación limpia como si fuera de cero y tengo que volver a instalar todas mis configuraciones y apk, hay algún tutorial que esplique bien como instalar con este nuevo sistema?

El primer paso pregunta si vas a dejar la partición System como ext4 o f2fs selecciona la que te parezca, luego pregunta si desea instalar data como keep current la cual es la partición que tienes por defecto, o te permite seleccionar f2fs o ext4, (la opcion keep current no formatea, en tu caso deberias seleccionar esta) , luego viene la de cache, tambien en keep current, luego instalar, por ultimo deshabilitas la opción de reinicio, haces los wipes y listo te deja todo como debe ser.

If the md5sum is right, then simply switch off the control. It works for me. No problem. The older roms are installed by twrp, but the new ones are diferent. It loks like the instalation isnt done by twrp.

How is the battery life?
Hi Team. This ROM is truly amazing.
I have spotted very strange bug. I have it since last July release. I have tested this for all release since then and it still appears. It is related to instantly disabling network carrier device.
Today with current release I had to restart phone three times in 10 hours of usage.
This is pattern which causes issue (doesn’t matter if phone is connected to charger or not):
– enabled internet connection
– enabled GPS (doesn’t matter option)
– use any of navigation app like google maps
This provides my device to instantly disable network carrier device. First time it was after about 3-4 hours then every time I wanted to use navigation.
Solution: every time I have to reboot system to have it all back.
It is really annoying specially when you are on the road and cannot stop to do the reboot and set everything again in safe conditions.
Today I had again that issue but this time when I was making a call. After network carrier disabled I left my phone on the desk. After 10 hours I’ve spotted that my battery was drained to zero… this is very strange problem.
Please, solve the battery draining issue! I have bought 3 new batteries just while using this ROM! 🙁
And I have tried Task Killers, Battery savers and all that stuff and it’s NOT WORKING

There’s nothing you can do….I am charging my phone every 3-4 hours and this is the main reason for which i am changing today the rom .I hope i find a better one or i’ll have to go for a touchwiz-based rom or worse….BACK TO STOCK ://///////////////////////

CM 10.2 is pretty stable. Try it before you go back to stock

Same issues on my i8190. Other issue was poor wifi as well.
Yes, I tried so many times and the problem remains 🙁 and when gping back to stock everything is fine, battery lasts longar than with CM11… hope Mc claw solve this ASAP. Youtube isn’t a big deal, I have tried another player (Viral Lite) and it works way better than Youtube, you can even play video when screen is off
1 GHz bug and clock freeze still present. Rom not usable for everyday life because of this issues.

hello guys. just want to ask. is the keyboard layout has numbers on top of it for this cm11? because I hate to change to symbols every time i wanted to key in numbers. and I never liked holding the keys down to get the numbers because that would be slow. thanks
