Carbon 4.4.4
New release (20140922) of Carbon 4.4.4 for S3 Mini is available!
For flashing KitKat, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!
If you want to say thanks by donating us using PayPal, feel free π
Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older Carbon version, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

please help my battery was dead and now i put it on the charger but it just shows the little loading icon and when i hold the power button to reboot it comes back to the loading icon?? what do i do?
never mind i just pulled the battery and then it booted normally π
Just push the power buttom for a second
format system partition as f2fs. that worked for me.

I have installed it on multiple devices and none mini s3 the application plays videos from youtube if anyone knows what to do please remark

OK ROM works, but Youtube app doesn’t. Hope they can fix it with the next release.
Yeah just backup the older working YouTube APk, uninstall the new, install the old APK and don’t update it π

Back to previous version.
Three times uncontrollable maxed-out CPU and almost non-responsive phone.
And also a few times at reboot. Another reboot and all was fast again.
Also back to twrp 2710. Several 2800-made backups were unrecoverable. Even with md5 created.
Better luck next update I hope….

this question is asked over and over again. its the app not the rom is the problem. uninstall YT and install the old version like v5.*.*.* and don’t update.
You are wrong… In Stock ROMs the YouTube App works… so its a ROM problem… NOT an app problem…
Are stock ROMs KitKat? No. It’s a KitKat problem.
I know i can downgrade YouTube but why should I? It works under any other ROM so of course it a ROM issue…
YouTube broke something so it fails under kitkat Roms.
Why is that a problem of the ROM? #-|

couldn’t get it to run properly. playservices would get quit permanently, playstore wont open.
did my install as usual, simply installed carbon via recovery, wiped both caches (using ART btw) and installed PA gapps. Had to revert back to the 0903 release

It works perfect, the only issue is that with xposed framework installed, you cant switch to ART. The other problem is when i fully charge the phone, i reboot and i have 93% of battery. I did clean install and the battery doesnt have more than 2weeks
Thats normal, xposed dont work with art, and set dalvik back after reboot. In a reboot you can loose battery about 5%

Same here, very unstable mobile network. Not only data, also voice.
Sometimes the icon in the top bar marks full signal strenght but when I scroll down the Quick Settings network icon says “Emergency calls only” and phone calls don’t ring.
I’ll try reverting to previous build.
It works, no Problems, only YT doesn’t work
There are some serious issues with playing video on several apps. Have to reinstall previous version.

Installed it. Runs smooth. Only have a problem that my gps is not working anymore.
Google maps can’t find location and also Navigon not working.

in Launcher3 when reboot device, the shortcuts were deleted in folders on the Home screen. I think that’s because I moved the apps for memory SD! Anyone else?
I don’t know if it’s because the apps are on SD card, but I have the same problem with an earlier build of Carbon.
Have a problem on Instagram apps, could not able to upload the video. Several effort has been worked but still the same such as:
1. Wipe intagram data and re-login
2. Uninstall and re-install the instagram apps
3. Convert the video
Still the same, not working.

Installed it and had the issue of everything giving a force close. Rebooted installed again and everything worked fine.
Youtube app is working, but i cannot select HD on the videos. But, the videos plays normal.
GPS works fine too. Tested with GPS Test app and locked blazing fast even inside my house.
Videos play fine with MX player, even over a network.
Maybe all this problems are model related?
I’m using the 8190L version.
help! When I make a reboot it appears a glitched screen and then the boot animation, and i can’t go at the recovery with the power menu, I have to switch off the phone and then press the power button, the middle button and the volume + button. can anyone help me? sorry for my english, I’m Spanish.

I’m living in Norway, since I chanced from stock to Carbon it shows in the phone-operator-menu that my provider (NETCOM) is forbidden to choose- on another phone of me (stockrom, S3mini as well) it isn’t like this!
Why that???
BTW: Where I can find older releases??? I’ll try to download and install another release to get fix that problem but cant find them – is there any “list” hidden in these homepages???
