For flashing KitKat, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!

Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

Hi, I’m making a rom with your time, cyanogen. For some time I started to experience problems, cell mark me 80% battery it reboots itself and turns back on scoring 4% battery. When you start, it becomes a restart until the battery exhausted. Perform a clean install of the rom August, which probe before and did not make me the same, and still does. What can it be? Will my cell phone? or kernel ?. Using mini S3 Thanks

It works perfect, the only issue is that with xposed framework installed, you cant switch to ART. The other problem is when i fully charge the phone, i reboot and i have 93% of battery. I did clean install and the battery doesnt have more than 2weeks

X posed framework isn’t compatible with you got to wait till they make xposed art compatible
I have had the reboot when almost fully charged issue in most of the releases. What I have noticed, is that it hasn’t happened to me ever when the phone is connected to wifi. That has at least helped me.

Youtube still problematic? In the stock ROM the updated youtube works perfectly. So, is not a problem of Google as some are saying.
Is an app problem for STE devices, becauses the libs are designed for JellyBean and not for kitkat.
So I believe that Google will never make a change to this app only to be compatible with STE devices and kitkat for now on. STE is dead, why bother?

is a problem in app youtube last update, is not compatible with android 4.4.4 specifically, for this reason it works in stock rom.
There are even people who have the official 4.4.4 rom and have problems with youtube

It’s funny that in my xperia with CyanM-4.4.4 I don’t have any problem with youtube or videos. My gf with this ROM can’t play any videos in websites or use an app she uses (6play). The folks that made the rom c2014 got it to work without a problem. Maybe there’s a common/reported solution
Is Google fault, Youtube has problems with 4.4.4. Just try an older version or another player like Viral Lite

Trato de instalar pero no me deja, al momento de dar en Israel se ve que sale la pantalla de instalación pero enseguida se reinicia el recovery, no he actualizado el twrp es por eso o a que se debe? Nunca había tenido ningún problema para actualizar hasta ahora.
Actualice mi twrp al último (2.8) y ni así me deja la opción que encuentro es que mi actualización. Se descargo mal, pero yo veo todo bien :/ pretendo actualizar desde la 06/09/14 a esta.
verifica que no sea un error de verificación de firma si es así deschequea la opción e inténtalo de nuevo si sigue saliendo error posiblemente no se descargo bien, habría que descargarlo nuevamente

Antes de hacer la instalación en twrp hay un checkbox que dice “zip file signature verification” esta es la verificacion de firmas, intenta la instalación deshabilitandolo, posiblemente esto genera el error que tienes
Ya pude por alguna extraña razón al querer formatear la partición cache el instalador me hacía eso selecciones la ex4 que es la que tenia yo por default y ya me dejo.

Uninstall and remove residual files from Youtube.
Download and install the version 5.2.27, this works for me.
if this does not work, put it as system app

Note: If you convert Youtube to application of the system, do not forget to restart your phone after having done this

Just a help for those that have problems with youtube. I actually installed a different app called “Viral”, and it’s pretty similar to the original youtube app, but with more features (like screen off playback, offline videos ecc.). You can find it free or pro on play store!

Coming from 4.4.2 20140520. This 4.4.4 has an imense battery drain in comparrison to that old version. Pls fix that issue. The cellphone is not useable that way.

I tried to install this release but when i go to install gapp i have not enought space on the internal partition… I tried every version. What can I do?
High battery usage, CPU frequency only @ 1GHz or 400 MHz, CPU load usually very high (often 50%)..

buuuuttt…. i can’t open the play store! all updates download automatically… rare…
