New beta release (20141129) of CM12.0 for S3 Mini is available!
For flashing Lollipop, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!
If you want to say thanks by donating us using PayPal, feel free 😉
Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation. Remember – this release is just a beta and it’s not supposed to being used as main OS!
You need to perform a wipe, doesn’t matter which ROM you’re currently using!

Issues
- RIL might be really buggy, we had to fight to make it working and it’s still under development, but 3G and messages are completely bugfree
- do not use PIN code for now, you might lock your card!
- GPS might be buggy
- this release doesn’t support f2fs yet, only ext4 filesystem – remember to wipe data/cache partitions as ext4 before flashing this ROM!
- camera doesn’t work at all
- missing part of OMXes implementation (so there’s no fully HW video acceleration)
- there’s no Google Apps for 5.0 yet (we are too fast!)

Before writing this firmware disable PIN code because there is a bug in this rom, it will not accept any code ant will block the card.

para actualizar los servicios de google play hay que borrar la cuenta asociada no se pierde nada y volver a pulsar google play y instalar la cuenta que borras tes y ya funciona bien es muy importante

Nevermind, I got it to boot. Only problem is that there is a blinking red frame every now and then. Is that beccause I flashed Lollipop Gapps?
Nope, the red frame shows up even without Gapps. I’m not sure what causes it.

I reboot New to Twrp and flash it again..after that succeed 20000 ..then it works to reboot but i habe no Internet connection and anfroud geht closed ..blabla..
same with me but i did a wipe and still the same is using f2f2 but dont know how to change back to ext parttition or does the rom do that?

These releases are never daily usable. I have been waiting now over a year for a 100% stable release and there is always some annoying bug.
What is the diffrent between Aosp and Cyanogen?
Cyanogenmod = AOSP + things added and modified by CyanogenMod team, I think?
Amazing! Performance is “good” and recovery is ok
The cons, for now, are that camera doesn’t work, it’s not possible to turn on the screen with the home button and it’s buggy, of course
Anyway, considering that is the first CM12 release for S3mini, it’s awesome!! Very very good

Well, nobody has a crystal ball showing future so…
They have to make all the fixes by themselfs. And thay have to do it one by one, ‘couse Sammy haven’t shared their developer platform. And it’s really hard job, as well as really random. So yea, it will take some time…
First , thank you for the new cyanogenmod, but i’m actually worry about when the new one’s finish because both the old and new still have many bugs

the app stops working when answering a call , i noticed it happens when the screen is turned off by the proximity sensor ..
i love this release! just found a couple of bugs that made me go back to my previous backup.
1) there’s this annoying red margin that i didn’t know how to get rid of (i just read a comment here that explain how to deactivate it).
2) whatsapp messenger crashes every time i launch it.
3) i had some issues with root permissions for some apps, for example i wanted to add the nav bar and reduce the dpi to 220 but the explorer i was using it said i needed root access to perform that action.
also there are some missing settings that i love on CM11 and little stuff to be polished… but for sure that i’ll flash and keep on the next CM12 release. it’s a 80% working ROM for me. THANKS A LOT NOVAFUSION 😀
I’ll wait until the next updates. At least until most of the bugs have been fixed!

lo mismo pienso, no pude probar lo de la cámara, pero si no tuviera el bug de que me crashea el whatsapp yo también usaría este release para uso diario 😀

I could live with no camera on my phone, but unfortunately I need to receive calls, otherwise it’s perfect, I’m amazed that Youtube works fine with this build, actually, none of the apps I’ve tested gave me problems.
Keep up the good work guys! I’m going back to Carbon 4.4, but I’m guessing it wouldn’t be long until you fix those little bugs.

Menu button has a bug that makes the last of the application instead showed “options”
that is not a bug that is android 5. But I have the solution. Team NovaFusion can you change this in your rom, too?
1. open the file /system/usr/keylayout/sec_touchkey.kl
2. change the first line from “key 139 APP_SWITCH” into “key 139 MENU”.
3. Save and reboot.

I tried to update to CM 12 BETA and then downgraded to CM 11 and then to stock ROM and that caused my entire phone to have problems these last days. One of these problems is that I can call from my phone, connect to the WIFI send messages etc, but I can’t connect to 3G. Nothing changes when I change my APN and I have started to believe that something changed in the network drivers of the phone. Can anyone help me?
