Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

Tio me puedes decir porque se gasta tanta bateria si el movil esta bloqueado?
Intenta prenderlo sin el wifi activado lo mas seguro es que tienes el bug 1ghz y es por eso.
de lo de la bateria pues creo que si me dura un poquitin mas.
Cuando voy a rendimiento me sale como la frecuencia va subiendo y bajando y respecto a la bateria desde que lo he actualizado no me consume nada bloqueado Saludos

Hi,
I tried updating from v.20141208 but the installer stops shortly after the install-wizzard (almost immediately after I press Install Now) and gets me back to recovery main menu. I’m using your TWRP recovery; I wiped cache and Dalvik before install – I followed this tutorial for the update – http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400123 (Upgrading / switching CM ROMs (only if you already have CM installed) ). Any help would be appreciated.

I’m new to this so please bare with me.
I have the S3 mini latin model and correct if I’m wrong, but this is supposed to work with it, right? There were some issues from the start, the capacitive keys didn’t work and after I installed GAPPS from the XDA post, the phone got in a restart loop whenever I suspended it.
So yeah, I’m well aware that you mention the bug tracker, the problem lies in that I’ve got the official rom for now, and I believe it is within the phone that I must do it.
In the hope that someone can help me, or blatantly denied me the use of this rom, I’ll leave this here.
Great job otherwise, cause I know there’s lots of people who benefit from this.

I’m not an English native speaker have patience if a made a mistake or didn’t make myself clear. Also, you can answer me in Spanish.
Is it possible the 1Ghz-Bug only appear immediately after flashing a new release?
After booting you need to wait 2 minutes before checking that the cpu frequency is reduced. But the bug is still not fully fixed. Even after a few days you can not be shure that it reapear. Someone wrote that flashing a different kernel should help.
So if I notice strong battery drain I check for 1GHz bug and help myselve with switching WLAN off and rebooting.

Another 2 monts and no shits given about the S Advance. I wouldn’t care if there weren’t so many bugs to fix. I still get random rebotts when gaming, watching YouTube videos, or simply browsing. Sometimes, after reboot, some of my games are missing. Not from the appdrawer, but in Play Store too, and I only get them back when I rebott the phone again. I hope you can fix these problems, because they are very annoying. Thanks.

I found it.
Couple serious problems:
1) Settings & Back button is not working
2) Receiving text message in screen lock causes phone to reboot!
Clean installation after factory reset and all data/dalvik/etc. wipe

I’m not sure this is possible. Actually I think there’s no way to do it to preserve even a wallpaper. If I’m wrong – some expert correct me.
Everytime i try to install updates i lose all of my data.
Then you are probably doing something wrong. Just follow the tutorial. Performing a wipe might be your problem. That’s all I can say.
Try to re-download everything.
If you don’t wipe data partition and don’t change filesystem of data partition you don’t loose any data when installing a new version of cm11 with TWRP.
Hi Ferhat Buday, I have tested releases from NovaFusion for a while, I never loose my data even the wallpaper, so here is what I do:
1. Install TWRP 2.8
2. Initialize TWRP (Volume Up + Power + Home), Inside TWRP -> Wipe -> Advanced Wipe, then you choose: Dalvik cache, System and Cache
3. Power off
4. Initialize Download mode ( Volume Down + Power and Home)
5. Install ROM via Odin
6. Voila ! new ROM without loose any data even the wallpaper

yes if you see cpu steps, it’s mean is you have no 1ghz bug..

Hi everyone, for the past few releases my s3 mini keeps loosing phone signal (2g or 3g). No matter what i do it does not come back until i reboot. How do fix this problem?
