Hi, I don’t know if is the same device. when we speak about s3 mini, we are talking of gt-i8190
About the encryption, yes, this rom have it but after activate it you can not continue updating it from recovery. (in my case fail and fail again). Only via odin, but after install you need to encrypt the phone again.

Hey guys If you want a good youtube video quality install xposed and then the module app settings. After this search the youtube app inside the app settings app change the desity (dp) a chose 800×1280, save this new settings. Now you can watch video on the youtube app in HD 720p 😉
This module does not work with the latest version of YouTube. Applications falls!

-Phone does reboot instead of poweroff
-no Battery loading when powered off (Phone stuck, had to hard-swich off or remove battery)

For me no-I used f2fs-
You need to disable your pin code/phone code before flashing the rom. Reflash your backup, then remove all pin/phone codes, flash this rom and renable all your codes. It’s annoying but its worth it
i have a problem in my s3 mini yesterday the play store was updated to 5.1.11 and stop working at all…. every time i intend to open play store it gave me force close, anyone can help me i already tried to clear cache and data from play store and play services but nothing changes, i even reflash the gapps and it keeps me closing the play store…. ;( can anyone help me please, i am using the last carbon update.

BUG: Once I install some apps and my phone gets 2.8 of free internal space, the video camera stops working, my whatsapp recording audio function also stop working… I’ve discovered the system create the temporary files (from the videos and audios), but it can’t continues to create the files itself.

On my Samsung Mini S3 8190N, I went to your Downloads page, chose the S3 Mini, and using Clockworkmod I installed cm12.0_golden.nova.20141205 and the appropriate pa_gapps-modular-micro-5.0.1-BETA1-20141209-signed. Prior to this I spent about a day reading up on it because I’d never done anything like this before! I have gone through this procedure two more times since, each time following instructions carefully.
The camera doesn’t work (nor does the Camera Fix off Google Play). The camera isn’t important. I’ve had a message about phone.android.com not working a couple of times. My question is — I’m stunned by the quality of this release, but I CANNOT MAKE OR RECEIVE PHONE CALLS. I can make and receive texts. The phone rings but there is no connection when I or someone at the other end picks the phone up. I have cleared the cache out, and replaced the sim card.
Is there an earlier release which is more likely to be trouble-free? Or is there a simple solution I cannot find on the net?

My 3G is not working, any ideas?
Some problems with charging here:
1) Offline charging doesn’t work
2) Charging suddenly stops while the phone is still plugged in and starts discharging
3) Battery drain due to the phone not entering deep sleep mode
Regarding 2) It seems (although I’m not quite sure) that charging stops when a notification is triggered (mail / sms / etc. reception for example)
WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth do not work together.
New info:
Regarding 3) at some point the phone started to enter Deep Sleep mode although not as often as it should (I think) and there is a suspicious amount of “lowbat_wake_lock” going on.
Regarding 2) I left the battery to drain until the phone went off (at that point it tries to unsuccesfully reboot itself, I think this is not right either) and plugged the phone in with all the radios off (no wifi, no 2g, no 3g, no BT). The phone did charge without interruptions up to around an 80% (reported) and after that it stopped charging and started to drain the battery power.
Another (maybe) related symptom is that when I plug in the phone the reported battery charge suddenly grows up to 6% more than what was reported when the phone wasn’t plugged in.
One last symptonm is that when I reboot my phone the reported battery charge drops off between 2% and 3%, I don’t know if this is a bug or this is normal power consumption for a boot up (I doubt it).
I hope this info is useful for you.
New Info: I’ve managed to charge the battery up to 100% by putting it in airplain mode and using a tablet charger (2A). The same procedure but using the factory charger (0.5A) results on the same previous faulty result (phone charging up to 80% approx. and then discharging).

yesterday I finally did it and rooted my device. Everything seems to work but unfortunately my back and menu buttons are not working (KitKat 4.4.4, CyanogenMod 11.0, 20141214). I guessed this issue has been fixed? Did I something wrong?

od kilku już aktualizacji, wbudowana aplikacja aparatu zapisuje zdjęcia z dużym opóźnieniem, a niektórych nie zapisuje wcale. Dodatkowo po jednej z aktualizacji bateria zaczęła trzymać zdecydowanie krócej, często wytrzymuje ok 10h przy w sumie nicnierobieniu (wyłączona synchronizacja i wifi/3g). Bateria była sprawdzana, ma 100% pojemności.
USB driver always returns “No driver found”.
I tried to restore Factory settings, flashed this version again, installed again the Samsung Drivers and Kies, but still can’t connect the phone on the PC.
USB Debug is activated.
I’m using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, someone have some issue with it too or know how to solve it?

This rom is perfect. But Vine isn’t working properly on this rom. Especially, videos aren’t playing properly after the stopping. 🙁
Problem with the Contacts app
Searching freezes when I enter the third letter. Th result only pops up after a minute or so.
I have got more than 1.500 contacts. But this can’t be the problem, since Contact+ works without problem.
With the release (20141214) my phone restar after teke a photo. 🙁
I retored the backup and re-installed the last release and camara works well.

Hi Novafusion! Great rom!
There’s a slight bug in this release however. Whenever an app requests Superuser permission, it’s impossible to press the ‘Allow’ button (‘Decline’ button works great). Apps can still be granted superuser permissions by changing the Automatic Response setting in the Superuser options. Please fix!
PS: If you ever get around to it, please add drivers for wired and wireless Xbox 360 controllers through OTG. My friend is pissed at me for borrowing his PS3 controller all the time…

Everything is fine with my phone after flashing this 14.12.2014 (from october firmware to this one). So i recommended it :3 (but i dont use bluetooth, some people suggest that bt is not working, i dont know it but all other things is working for me)
if the phone is turned off and i plug in to charge locks itself and stays on. other things works well. (sorry for bad eng).

hi,thanks for your fantastic roms, but now i have this problem: i don’t now if it’s a bug or a my mistake, but when i go into settings -> screen -> Cast screen it looks for bluetooth devices ,I recently bought a samsung smart tv that supports the screen transmission (using a menu function) but the phone can not detect it, i don’t now if i need another kind of transmission but it doesn’t work, also i read that the transmission should take place via wifi and not bluetooth, is that right?
then how should I do to pass the phone screen on the tv ?

I just checked, if I change the language to English (I use Italian) does not speak of bluetooth, it says “No devices were found nearby,” could be a translation error, however, the problem remains, the phone does not detect the TV, as can I do?

Hello, yesterday I installed the latest firmware from cyanogenmod 11 20141214. Tonight at 2.48 I unplugged the phone from charging. And from 2.48 to 6.30 phone is dead from 100% to 36%. In statistics, energy consumption was first connection to the network, the second – copsdaemon. What do I do now?

the 1ghz bug sometimes appears.
tip: turn off wifi & 3g, reboot, wait a minute, turn on wifi & 3g.
my personal tip is turn off wifi & 3g, intall the rom, reset, reset again, turn on wifi.
At night, the phone is not only much dead, but lost the network. The network was restored only after a reboot.
How can I convey to you the logs of this state?
donkeyguard app ( its an xposed module) crashes when we click to open it in cm11 rom…works fine in stock rom. pls fix this issue… this app is very important for but so i m forced to use stock rom. but i really wish to use cm11 🙁

I’ve just installed 20141214 on my S3 mini (Odin version). All runs pretty well.
But: When the phone is switched off and I plug in the charger, the phone freezes. Only pulling the battery is possible to reset the device.
When phone is booted, this does not appear.
Is this a problem of this CM11?

Hello guys! I flashed my since ever stock s3 mini with TWRP + CM11, all of them provided from your download section. It seems to work just fine until I turn the mobile data on, point when, after a few seconds the phone reboots! Aaaand, when it boots the OS, it shows ~2% battery (from a previous 80% a few seconds earlier)… Then it keeps rebooting and doing the same thing… This is annoying…. I used the pico gapps, if it matters :-?? Could anyone help, pls? x((
Fix the bug with Usb Cable please, i can´t copy files in the computer!!!
Were you copying a .zip? I tried to do this too, until I found somewhere that tis is a general bug for the s3 mini hardware or something. Try renaming .zip to .txt before copying.

LED notification upon receiving any notice of any app not allowed to run is not whether it is a bug or just me happens to me sometimes can not leave the drawer applications with the button back to normal home: / , also network data packet switching from 2g to 3g alone .

Hi again guys, the problem was i activate the privaciy setting. ;P
may be, the installer, need to check this before start the backup to prevent the fail.
I tried this release of CM11, but had no 3g. Same issue with the new AOSPA 4.4.4.
Also, Google Calendar kept crashing under ART on CM11. Worked ok in Dalvik.
I’ve now switched to the October release of CM10.2, which works just fine so far.
Maybe the team could look into 3g radio functionality for the nexty round?
the gCal issue could be something unrelated to CM11???

I have USB Accessory ( GROMM USB2P ) which is not working anymore the supporting app AALinq is not started when I attach it, neither is my phone recognizing the accessory.
The stock S3Mini ROM works fine which the app and accessory.

Went to sleep with fully charge battery and woke up with no battery at all.
Would really like to hear how can one avoid it.
My tip: before reset to recovery turn off wifi & 3g, apply the rom update, restart, restart again, turn on the wifi & 3g, and do your life!

I have insalled this ROM o my S3 mini one month ago, it’s so beautifil band it works very well…but my S3 mini has a little problemi: it has random reboots…i have installed also OneL+Lollipop CM11 theme on it but i have random reboots similarly. Help me please.

The contact list doesn’t sync with Google account. I have added a Google account (from Accounts) and my contacts were sync’d to the phone but when I try to save a new contact there’s no account to sync with. Any idea? Thanks

When I go to information about home and I click 6 times on the build number I can enter in “performance”and I click in processor. Then I see the governor and max/min frecuency, when I keep my finger in the screen the min frecuency changes to 800 mHz automatic and I don’t know why, I want to say that I don’t change nothing, like the advert says me when I enter in performance

I tried what Vicious said before reseting and flashing, making sure wifi and mobile network was turned off. But my battery drains more quickly than I think it should, even during night when I switch it to airplane mode. Is this the 1GHz bug? But it says in the CM description it has been fixed..

I’ve got a problem with sim toolkit. it is there in “application” but not in “menu” & I can’t start it.
I have my phone connected to the charger and sharing wireless internet to my computer. With original firmware the battery would charge until it was full and stay there. But with CM it seems the battery is actually switching between discharging to something like 70% and then charging again. Is this normal behaviour or maybe an effect of 1GHz?

the battery doesn’t update the progress of discharge. It remains always at the same value. It change when you reboot the phone but after this, goes down of just one number and stop
When I disconnect OTG cable the battery icon shows me as it is in charging mode. I can’t connect the device at my PC from USB or make it in AC charge. I must reboot my device to restore the situation.
Everything seems to be working fine, except for one thing:
The automatic screen light dimming doesn’t work. When I try to set it to automatic it just doesn’t stick. Maybe I’m missing something…

Hi. I’ve just upgraded my SIII mini with CM 11. I’ve first rooted it, then Uploaded twrp2.8_golden.nova.20140911.tar.md5 recovery mode. After I’ve flashed with cm11.0_golden.nova.20150311.zip. All went fine. I’ve even installed gapps. My problem is when I poweroff the mobile to charge it, As soon as I plug the Chager, a wheel is displayed and nothing else happen. I normaly expect to see a battery charging !!!. The only way to charge the mobile is to turn it on in recovery or normal mode. Do you have any idea on what is wrong and what should I try to do to correcct this ? Thx for help
