Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from other CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

Are you overclocking your device?, if yes, please use performance governor and let us know if this makes it work better

Could anyone confirm that the ROM is working good? Because I don’t want to flash it until I don’t know that I know I won’t need to roll back to the previous one.

There is no any reboot issue, you just need to disable overclocking.

i wish Novafusion team will come soon with cm12 as surprise for SGSA.
@Novafusion team, now you can compile using Nova tcp 4.9. tano and hasta built so many roms for sgsa by that.. and these roms are so smooth…

Hey guys. This was my first time using a custom ROM. I’ve had it for a few days and so far it has been working very well. No random restarts like 1 or 2 other comments have suggested.
However I do have one problem which I’m hoping someone could help me with. How do I disable the BLN?

Since the last updates of Candy Crush it won’t start. The Loading screen appears but after a few seconds it quits to the main screen without any error code. Any other apps running smoothly,
I switched to ART then Candy Crush is working fine. But the phone is incredibly slows down.
Any ideas?

Bug of low volume call still exists on my phone, except it its an awesome rom. If try overclock the phone reboots random, if no works good! without screen blinking like cm11 by TC.

What about “low-incall volume”? Is this fixed?
Problems with sms some times you recive the same message 3-4 times when the seender receve the delivery raport

12h with it, totally responsive, smooth transitions, changed the cpu governor (due to precedence, but planning to set it to default to see how it works) youtube working, installed PA gapps micro, works perfect, this is gonna be my new daily drive

I have some bugs that i noticed since the november update
– When you take a picture, somehow, he goes upside down from nowhere, videos have that bug too.
– Low incall volumes
– Screen rotation bugs
Everything works perfect, except for the reboots, after a while testing it I’ve come to the conclusion that these reboots are not random at all, it just happens when the phone is on 3g connection, and has nothing to do with cpu gorvernor, probably it’s a kernel issue

In the last build…If you get the wifi on in standby mode the battery is drained…very…
After a while testing it has some reboot but I’ve come to notice these reboots are not random at all, just happens when 3G is on, actually if I take out the sim card or connectit to wifi it won’t reboot at all
well i ended up with a solution for the random reboots, flashed the most stable kernel i’d had, the slimkat from march, now it’s totally daily usable

14/12/2014 Update is an good update.
Only date related problem might be there as it do not take auto date and time.
I9070xxlql> Wipe all> wipe cache and dalvik>Format system> installed 14.12/2014 version> flashed Gapp.

GPU Undervolt -25mV, Low 320 High 680.
works fine no issue till now. Battery consumption is great.
deep sleep sync is poor as it might disconnect wifi/3g.

All my quick setting icons are screwed up. I am coming from a previous (4.4.3) version of this rom itself. So i did not clean install. Any help?

Tried to download the latest rom from the download site ( cm11 build for s advance). always unable to download.
Tried 7 times and always the download stopped at around 89mb ??

Getting some issues
1. low-incall volume.

Hello, please can someone tell me, where can i found settings for BLN ? It works only 10sec after miss call (sms, whatsapp…) and than it switches off and I dont see backlighted buttons anymore 🙁 Any idea please? I tried to install BLN app but with same results.Thank you.
My screen turns on when i rotate my phone or when I lift it off/put it on my desk. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can turn this off?

On this ROM (20141214 ) for S Advance since the last 4 days.
All working fine except the issues
1) Low volume during calls
2) whenever i try to open gallery / play some videos/ open pics it reboots
3) Sometimes there is a lot of lag which resolves by itself
Well, I do believe novafusion doesnt want to hear wrong things about its ROM.
2 Previous bug reports of the newest ROM ( 201411214 )have been deleted from this thread.
And i am no spammer saying wrong things about DEV`s as i am a complete noob to rooting / flashing new ROMS. Infact this is the 1st flash i have flashed for my S Advance.
I have tried to inform the DEV`s about the bugs but they are just deleting my posts??
1) random reboots are happening especially when opening the gallery app and seeing videos / trying to select videos for deleting.
2) many a times there is considerable lag which disappears after the rebooting ( random reboots ).
3) Low volume during calls
These are the few bugs seen on using this roms since the last 3-4 days now

The antenna signal reception and wifi are not good compared to the original version of Samsung S3 mini. I have already installed several applications to improve but no changes so far. Any help?

Hi Everyone!
Yesterday i flashed the latest CM11 ROM to my S Advance phone. The only problem was the gapps and its size. First I tried the mini version, but it was too big so finally i used the nano. I had no problem during the process and afther that.
First I wiped everything I could (/system, /data, /cache, dalvik cache + factory reset :). Than i flashed the CM11 ROM (downloaded from this site) and gapps nano package.
I couldn not find any major bug since than (not tested everything). But my wifi have became more stable than before (orig Samsung 4.1.2 JB). No lags, no frozen apps.
So i am very grateful for this ROM. Thank you guys. Good work!
The only thing i missed was the FM radio. So I looked for it. Finally i found this forum post:

Hi, there. can u confirm whether it works as there is no FM support on this rom ( please correct me if i am wrong ).
as in its play store app description it says that it wont work unless there is native support for FM radio inbuilt in our rom.

It is working on my phone. I’m now listening FM96.8 “Rádió7” station. WiFi and mobile net access are switched off :). The app makes a request for sa access. After I allow it, the radio works. I’m in Hungary so the frequency range is 87MHz to 108MHz. In the app I use the “North American” band (with initial settings).
Another thing: the low incoming call volume. I download the “Volume booster” from Play Store. I set the “Voice call” to 5. I don’t do any other setting. This helped me. The calls are louder now.

Well, I made a clean installation, and I have tried every possible combination of cpu governor and i/o scheduler, the reboots apparently are not related to this, the reboots only happen when on 3G, I successfully ran my janice for 30 days without having random reboots by having it set to 2G, it worked perfectly but slow internet is painful, then I switched to 3G and after 10 min the reboots started to happen again.
Probably its a kernel issue, it’s a shame samsung do not support the developer community by releasing updated drivers for their hardware.

Its the end of s advance here but I installed CM12.1 by polishvodka from XDA website, so now my Janice is running lollipop ….
