For flashing KitKat, we recommend you to install our TWRP recovery (available on Download page)!

Do full backup before installation and wipe data/cache (factory reset) after installation (only from stock ROM).
If you’re updating from older CM10.1/10.2/11.0 version, you don’t have to perform a wipe!

is it possible to get more ram then 803 MB, because he has 1 gb
It is not possible as you don’t get the exact 1gb of ram, you get less than that. Then add the fact that android itself needs a little bit of ram for its own. So, no, it is not possible to get more than 803 MB of ram, unless of course that you switch to a phone with more RAM.
you can make a .swap file to get some virtual memory, i try some times when i got the s3 mini but cant do it, i think the kernel does not support the swap thing, try to search another kernel and try
Hi! Thank you for good work. I have just a question. The RIL functions are not included? I can’t see it in the list. In last release was the 2G connection still little buggy (3G worked well). It is fixed now?
I never get 3G on my S3 mini, do you know how I can get it? Sometimes it pops up but then it switches back to E or H-connection.
dont worry H is better than 3G 😉
H is better then 3G
E is slower.
only in very specific cases you land in the middle on “3G” when H is available.
“H”, or HSDPA, is faster than 3G anyway

Same problem. Since a WhatsApp update about 1 Year ago, I’m not able to send videos in WA.
Seems to be WhatsApp’s problem (I think) because on my Tablet (with CM11/ Samsung’s Rom), I have the same issue.
Doesn’t work as well with CM 12/12.1 on my s3 mini

After instalation, my google account was removed.
When I want add it manualy, there is no option to choose google account (only other accounts) 🙁

Niechcę być niegrzeczny ani nachalny, ale czy możecie zrobić nową wersję CM11 dla Ace2?
Ostania wersja jest z grudnia więc minęło trochę czasu. Na XDA nikt już nikt niezajmuje się Kitkatem, sporo osób siedzi już na CM12. Ja jeszcze niezamierzam się przesiadać na nowszego CyanogenModa, póki bug z kamerą niezostanie naprawiony.
Możemy na was liczyć NovaFusion?

Battery holds fine. Check for apps (e.g. Google Play Services) having the permnission to keep the device active and deny this permission in CM’s privacy settings.
RIL sucks…….3G buggy, try with different baseband and nothing. (8190L)
Now please, don’t list that this release has no bugs then I go to install it only to see the same ones there. So that begs the question: what has changed in this version prior to the last release? And can someone please walk me through the installation process without having to reinstall everything. I will be using the recovery method.
Why dont you look at the tutorials section?
Very counterproductive, mate. No way in hell I would install a custom rom without looking over the tutorials first. I know some do, but I don’t,
As of now the biggest bug that really peeves me off is that I don’t have low level access to my sim. So that means I cannot backup my contacts or accesses them or any of the Vodafone services on it. You know the ones, the numbers that come pre-installed on every sim. Can access them on other phones, but not my S3 MINI.
The other bugs I can handle, but that one shouldn’t even be there, at all!

No need to reinstall anything. Copy the rom zip to sd card, reboot in recovery mode TWRP, do not wipe anything, just install the rom zip. After doing that wipe dalvik cache and reboot to system. Just be sure to upgrade from a previous CM11 rom version, not CM12.

Probably wondering why I choose the “recovery” method, huh? Well if you are – I choose that way because with me, at least, if I use the “Odin” method it downgrades the version I have and doesn’t save the file system / cache as f2fs, weird, huh?
Anyway that’s why I use the “recovery” method. Thanks anyway…
I forgot: when you install the zip you should accept the default choices (keep current filesystem and so on) but remember to deselect the reboot option in the last screen of the rom installation rocess. You should reboot manually after clearing dalvik cache. Anyway, each and every now, doing a clean install isn’t a bad idea.

MTP no funciona bien, deja de funcionar cada dos por tres, es mas ya van dos veces que se me ha formateado la sd y la memoria interna mientras utilizaba MTP, arreglar eso y no pongais que si que funciona…..
What’s the use of posting MD5-hashes, if the uploaded files ouput different MD5s?
This does not install with TWRP 2.8, phone justs reboots into recovery again.
Please help! Before installing Cyanogenmod (Maclaw’s port) “about phone” said that my model name was: GT-I8190L but after installing this ROM my model name changed to: GT-I8190. So… If i need to flash a new kernel, do i need GT-I8190L or GT-I8190 kernel version? I can deal with soft bricks but i don’t wanna hard bricks just for the confussion of the model name, please someone help me!

Unable to disable secril-fd-interface / fast dormancy. App works for orig fw but not this. Overnight is roughly half wake and half deep sleep. Power consumption is two to three times higher than orig fw.

Hello. I try to install cm 12.1 but i failed, so I decided to back on cm 11, All things worked normal except this 3 problem:
1- Showing [RST_STAT = 0x00000000] in a black screen when battry is low (have to remove battry)
2- Load fuzzy screen Instead of bootlogo
3- Battery drain too fast
I changed bootlogo, full wipe, install os again with repartitioning by odin, but problems still exist, how to fix it? Please help, Thanks.

It went so bad at so many step in so many tries that I can’t pinpoint whether it’s the installer or the ROM (or both) that is (are) buggy. I’m so glad it just didn’t f*ck up the recovery and let me downgrade to a cm-10.2 build that was still, thank God, available.
This release and the previous build of cm-11 by the same author need a lot more testing before being published, IMHO.

I’ve got a little big problem, when I go to sleep I plug my phone in order to charge it, but when I get up the phone is turned off and it really annoys me because I need to use the alarm to wake up in the mornings, but the alarm doesn’t work because the phone is off. Is there any solution for this? I’ve noticed that when the battery reaches 94% of charge the phone turns off. I did a clean install, or well, I think I did it, I wiped cache, data, dalvik, and other stuff I don’t remember before installing the rom. The battery is new.

I installed this rom on my SIII mini i8190 and all the Google apps (Google Play, Google Maps, Hangouts…) they don’t work! They simply crash after I start them… any solution?

I encountered a bug where the wifi got stuck on ‘Turning Wifi on…’ when the device booted. It was most likely caused by an Xposed module soft rebooting the phone twice in quick succession, and probably has nothing to do with the ROM, but I thought it might still be worth noting.
